The NESer Neptune's Pride Thread!

merciary is defeated, Shadowbound was annihilated by Matt0088 and myself, then Thlayli, bombshoo and myself started to invade Matt0088. Now, Thlayli's invading bombshoo. Also, Thlayli finally got around to killing EQandcivfanatic. :p

It wasn't really a invasion you know. More of a party where I happen to being losing everything. Its not like I've lost many ships, I still have over 1100. And The Sandwich.

Victory for the combined Imperial fleets! The Union fleet attacked us at Baham with a force nearly three times smaller than ours, and were, of course, annihilated!

Imperial Ships destroy the Union carriers

The First Imperial Fleet, however, was destroyed in the battle. We mourn everyone who died for the freedom of the Imperial people. The first, second and third marine corps, the first special ground espionage team, the first special ground sabotage team as well as all the admirals and sailors on board the ships.

However, it is our first major victory against the Union, and with reinforcements arriving from our very efficient reinforcing system, let us pray that it is not only this one victory! The Union has been weakened, but are far from having been defeated. The Imperial Fleets will continue to fight for the freedom of the people, until either they or the enemy have all been killed!

Further away, the rising power of the Starwhompers is starting to worry the council. They have grown very powerful, even more than the United Planets of Merak. If we don't manage to control this beast then they may be a bigger threat than the Union will ever be. Our spies are closely watching this rising power and feeding their information to the council, the Emperor, and the alliance. They have nearly double our annual income and over double our production levels, and are getting closer to the alliance after every passing day. Let us just hope that the Starwhompers don't become too strong and can still be tamed when we need it.

My respect to people like EC and Terrance who have had no free expansions.

Thanks, although I did take my southern border very early on so I could easily take everything north of it :)

Interesting, Iggy!

In our game, it seems Boundless has expanded and then, at the right moment, let herself be conquered by Aiken/Abaddon. And she had a lot of stars, too. I call this improper behaviour! Aiken is now even bigger thanks to having this sacrificial player. I advise don't let those two player together again!!

NO no, hold on one minute, me and Abaddon had an agreement to attack yellow together, hence me moving all my ships in that direction. HOWEVER, then Abaddon was a big bum and stabbed me in the back, hence why he found it so damn easy because ALL my ships were en-route elsewhere. I'm bloomin' irritated tbh because it's totally ballsed up my game and am never going to recover, but eh, Abaddon is a cheeky little...turd. So take back that 'improper behaviour' nonsense please Daftpanzer, I am as annoyed as you are. I am not a sacrificial lamb for Abaddon the devil, merely just very freaking unlucky.

Nice write up, but it all happened when I tested how long it will take for you to consolidate forces and then the internet disconnected for 40 minute when I tried to cancel the order. :p

Also, Abaddon made you give WS to me after 'invading' you. How's that?

NORTHERN MARCH CAPTURED, REBELS DESTROYED, REINFORCEMENTS UNCOUNTABLE
The Northern March is finally won (although victory was NEVER in doubt) with the capture of the Ashlesha system. Their Imperial fleets fled like dogs. However, the Aries Dreadnought Ironic Victory lived up to its name when Aries Infiltrators destroyed the communication device for over a month, forcing the ship to fly along the targeted course which was selected only for the Designation Destination Distance procedure. It was promptly reprogrammed and the men (sadly not the equipment) salvaged. The hulk survived to fight the enemy at Baham with its automated defenses. Research is continuing on the mysterious Terranic Dreadnought

Attempted escape of the Ares Infiltrators

The forces in the northern front total a Class 12 Sector Fleet. Although most of them are defending the minefields of Ashlesha, we have Class 4, and 5 fleets imbound, with further fleets farther away. Sign up today at the destinations of Seguinis, Mizar, Electra, The Garrison System of Baiten Kaitos, or Merope!

EDIT:
My respect to people like EC and Terrance who have had no free expansions.

I can always kill you by going OOC. :D

OK sorry, Boundless, I take it all back. I believe you and it seems I was misinformed.

I imagine that was quite annoying!

I'll join.

I don't. If he stabbed you in the back, why are you attacking yellow now? Surely you would want to attack Abaddon and try to weaken him a bit for betraying you?

Iggy you not on #NES, password I want !!!

Interesting that bombshoo scored points with only 8 stars. That looks like it was quite intense, especially if you and Thlayli were fighting it out.

It was surprisingly ordered; a phased division of the entire world between the two great powers. Plus, Matt gave up without too much of a fight.

I only invaded bombshoo at the end when I realized Iggy was invading Matt too quickly to allow me to get to victory on Matt's stars alone.

Indeed. A discussion I had with Iggy cleared up any doubt that he would betray me, and when I failed to properly give Bomb my Weapons tech to destroy your 550 ships, i.e. leaving the 268 stack run free, It was pointless to resist against what effectively was 180% my strength, delaying the inevitable isn't fun. Making the Sandwich was fun. Yummm 800 Ships. :D

I'm gonna finish this epic one first and give it the attention it deserves.

On other notes, I have fully drawn out and schedueled my production line to squeeze every single ship!

@thomas.berubeg dont worry, Temporal Gyre has 3 of 12 players as of right now. I'm guessing Raku is Iggy. I want to play !!!

Can't you just post the password here?!

I am not sure I want to post the password here because I want to make sure that we don't get non-dedicated players. I've sent a PM to all interested containing the password.
