Sounds like a plan. Texas, New Jersey, Connecticut and Ohio cede the territories comprised by the cities of El Paso, Camden, New Haven and Toledo to the State of New Mexico, and good riddance!

Finally a tax base!! And given the fine quality cities you all have donated, we can finally go from second to last in most lisitngs of the states to dead last. When all those fine citizens get a taste of NM politics, they will recind their decision.

This is repeated all over the nation. Some state lines are based on rivers, and these shift, so there's always lawsuits on who actually owns what piece of worthless land.

Expect in my states case it over who owns the river and that worthless alnd is a Naval base.

You mean I might have conflicted feelings about the Land of Enchantment? Well, to set the record straight NM is one of the nicest places I have ever lived and is run by the most corrupted politicians in the country. Yes, more corrupt than Chicago and Louisiana. The only thing we want from Texans is their money and thousands come here already to spend it to keep coming. Well, we also want them to acknowledge that they grow inferior chile.

Why care about the chile? Our Tex Mex food is better than whatever portmanteau of Mexican cuisine & Anglo food exists in New Mexico.
