Where did Kael get the name 'Night of the Werewolves' from? There are quite a few things on the 'net called Night of the Werewolves nowadays, Google reveals (some of them are mafia games; there's a Harry Potter fanfic called 'Harry Potter and the Night of the Werewolves').

Apparently if you're planning a business teambuilding session in the Dutch province of Utrecht, there's a company that will set up a live version for you (under where it says 'Property List', one option is 'De Night of the Werewolves' - click 'more >' to see the details). Don't think I'd be willing to pay €40-€60 per person to play NotW though.

the origins of mafia is a game made by a russian professor I think and it was orginally called werewolf. I got a link to it somewhere.

I remember playing NOTW as a Kid at a sleep away camp, but it was much simpler than What we do here (just wolves and a couple other roles)

Mmmk, still missing some 5-6 characters to reach the minimum and some balance.
Also, any games by me should be started on a Caturday.

In the hypothetical case that more than 15 people sign up, should I extend the character list a bit or just make them be reserves?

If you're going to host a M-NOTW, I'd probably wait until after my game gets going so those killed early can sign up and still get their NOTW fix. Hosting it now doesn't make too much sense imo.

And I'd probably stay with the 15 to keep it a quote 'mini.'

Yup, it was some typo back there, game'll start the Caturday after your game does.

And I'd probably stay with the 15 to keep it a quote 'mini.'

If you say so, sure I'd rather ask before becoming a role-mass-producing machine and suddenly finding I had to cut the game by half
