The "oddities" you have.

It's kind of frustrating, when you try to reminisce with people, for example I'll ask my cousin, "Remember when we were 9 years old, at that swimming pool in Ohio on a summer vacation and you said..."? They have no memory of any of it, most of the time.

It almost seems like everyone else has a mild case of Alzheimer's. Sometimes it only takes like 4 or 5 years, and people totally lose all recollection of things (sometimes small events, not just conversations) completely. It's like... I remember your life... better than YOU do.

[....]

Does it ever occur somebody else remembers something you don't?

Also, people get hypocritical. One time they'll have a certain point of view. Then 10-15 years later, it's totally the opposite, and they have no memory of the previous point of view whatsoever. "People change"... indeed. Funny how I remember it all, and they seem to actually have become someone else, over time, with no memory of who they once were.

That's not hypocrite, it probably seems hypocritical to you.

Hmmmm...
Very long sighted especially for my age
Have a very sarcastic attitude and cant help myself taking the piss sometimes
Procrastinate horribly, struggle to work hard when i dont enjoy things like studying etc

I hated the dialect where I grew up; a medium-sized town a couple of miles from Gothenburg. I have therefore since I was very young made up and spoken my own version of Swedish which over the years have made it impossible for people to tell where I'm from.

When I was younger my eyesight wasn't all that good and I used to have reading-glasses, however it seems my vision is improving with age and now I don't need them anymore. My ... uh, optician(?) use to joke that if my eyesight keeps getting better I could be a fighter-pilot at age 50.

Slightly megalomanic in that I sometimes overestimate my intelligence and academic abilities (i.e. "this essay is 5p so five weeks. But thats for 'ordinary' people, I'll just relax and do it in the final week, easy")... but that's probably not unique in any way when I think about it  .

I have migraine crisis, generally triggered by phenomenon involving lights.

I have a good memory, and usually remembers details read years ago in books.

My handwritting is awful, to the point even I can read it afterward, so I always type things.

Has never happened.

Btw, it's genetic, most likely. My grandfather is the same way. His memory is astonishing. Though, mine seems keenly geared towards remembering verbal conversations. Seriously, I can recall, and "in my mind's ear", hear every conversation, every social interaction - every encounter. Every little stupid thing kids ever said, during childhood, I can recall in exquisite detail. I remember what they said on the playground in pre-school, one day after another, day after day, every single day. Then I can bring up the 1st grade archive... it's all there. Thousands upon thousands of memories, totally in high quality HD as if they were recorded yesterday.

Everybody remembers conversations. I just remember them ALL. All the little ones that most people forget after a couple of weeks... my mind just doesn't let them go. Anyway...

Im an anti-social person, or a person with problems socializing, including family.
How strange - i am anti-social toward my parents, but more sociable toward my friends. :)

In other words, you are a teenager?
I am, but i doubt that explains it. If that actually is the problem then i've never heard of teenagers who had the kind of problems i have with my parents. (actually i do know 1 person on the forum ...) So i may not be the standard (what you see in movies) teenager, but then again my parents are not the standard (what you see in movies) parents.

I'll tell you a secret

Spoiler :
What you see in movies is NOT the standard

No Cata, you're 20, you're not a teenager! ;)
 Just wait till you are 20 - and then answer the question. :p

I'm just as ******** as i was 4 years ago, and just as ******** as everyone else. So that makes me a teenager.
I'll tell you a secret

I keep getting to that conclusion too. But still i've yet to find ppl like my parents in real life. I barely found them online.

Here is another secret

Spoiler :
Online is NOT real life either

Double jointed middle fingers.

Weak teeth.

Mild depression.

Nothing too odd about me except my sexual fetishes which most would find odd, or very disturbing.

The "oddities" you have.
Besides whiling away the morning hours talking to people online? Too many to list without bringing down the server.

I like keeping wierd animals and hobbies, centipede, spiders, fish and leeches. I have a beard, thats the wierdest thing people instinctly find about me. I have no tattoo, 3 person have independantly asked me to show them my tattoo, i said what? They mentioned that they have seen me with a tattoo bfore, the 3rd person, i grilled him about it, but he has only faint recollection. Not really a real wierdo by the standards here.

People think having a beard is odd? Ohhh, you must have been accidentally teleported to that Good parallel universe, where everyone is clean shaven. Those ion storms will get you every time.

Like the tattoo, people says that they remembered when i was clean shaven. I haven't been clean shavened for a very long time. Wierd huh? besides that, im mr Norman to everyone else.
