This is the most hilarious post by far.
You think going to a different group of continents could save you from Genkhis Khan's wrath? Wrong!
The Scourge of God will pursue all of his unlucky victims to the ends of the Earth.
Clearly the Mongols are there to keep you from becoming too advanced. You didn't know that the Mongols were the exploiter police?
The Scourge of God had been dead for about 800 years or so by then.
Both Attila and the Mongols were referred to as the scourge of God. It's not exactly uncommon Christian imagery, and contemporaries were well aware of the parallels between the Huns and Mongols.
This is the Celts, lived happily in peace, with 3 warriors defending their homeland, from Ancient era till 20th century.
All except Northern Ireland, which voted to be in the UK.
In the CoE, to be exact.
Tibet once again demonstrates that no independent city is safe from it's wrath.
The most useless random event ever.
This didn't happen in DoC, but yesterday in my AP world my teacher (who is terrible) was rote quizzing us on what resources were where in early BCE, and I was correct because I just visualized the DoC map. DoC might actually carry me through AP World!
Oh the responsibility.
Haha I know what you mean I played DoC religiously last year when I had AP world, got a 5 easy.
I took the SAT 2 (I assume you're in America so you know what that is ) and I got a perfect score. One of the questions was "Which of these cities was the financial capital of Europe during 1700?" The only reason I got that right was because of the UHV
But in general this game will not help you in history LOL
Why did the American War of Independence happen? Because English refused the flip.
Give me liberty, or give me up to five flipping Redcoats per turn.
Meanwhile, in the Legio I Americana, stationed in America, Scipo Africanus wishes that the gods would just kill him already, after living far too long. At least he made certain that this New Republic would have a proper roman road system.
Got another batch here.
1. So, because this event happened, it overrode the later corn spawn, so i traded health for happiness and some extra commerce here:
2. All those vultures just sitting around...
3. Also posted in Tech Speed thread: Taoist Rome (and yes, they do have the holy city, i saw them reconquer it later on):
I loaded in a 600 AD Standard Prussian start, went to WB to check things out, and look what I found!
The Italian superpower.
The Italian land of Denmark!
The Italian land of Peru:
The Polish conquests of Scandinavia?
What are you doing Thailand?
Ottomans, in Korea?
I think Ottoman Korea and Italian denmark are firsts gor me. Everything else can happen every so often in a game. The resl question is how advanced is Italy in that game?
Although the graphs don't work, the top 3 cities are Italian. (attachment)
