The "OMG! Look what happened in DoC!" Thread

Would you look at that?! Dravidians start with 1 city in 1700 scenario and by 1879 they are 5 city independent civ: entire south India plus they are in control of Panama canal (built by Colombia)! This is on Monarch/Marathon. Uncle Sam is getting ideas :mischief:

Well done
And in this universe Nicaragua has it's canal too
Yes, actually! Good catch! I was able to claim Panama via Congress, but Colombia would block Pacific side water tile. And I don't know what is Bolivar's deal, but he would never open borders even on Pleased. So when I was trying to sail to San Francisco from New York I have discovered that my Steamer is being to re- routed via Nicaragua instead.

I have seen the AI try to build a fort there once (on the old map) in all my years of DOC. It gave up eventually, I'm not sure why.

Big map allows 4 cities in Ireland, theoretically, and this is the first time I see 3! This is on 600 AD start, Monarch/Normal. And British are leading, for a change. And check out how many wars they are engaged in by 1700s!

Did these two barbarians make me fail first goal or I don't understand what do I have to do, to accomplish it(I have seafaring)?

Playing a France UHV (from several versions ago, haven't updated since like 2016) in honor of the Olympics and because I don't think I ever won a French UHV (years ago when I played I accidentally won a domination victory before I got the UHV and never tried again).

Anyways, this is a fun Ottoman spawn that I've never seen, with a capital in...Ukraine. They kicked my German vassals out of Anatolia, but I'm not gonna pick a fight with them over it as its irrelevant to winning.

Was doing Assyria run, and egypt collapsed way too early... so they didnt build road or anything. Leaving me in predicament where i cant possible reach egypt cuz of 1 impassable desert. My workers couldnt enter it either...
The only way i guess is to tech into galley from Jerusalem, which is really annoying to do. So.. is this intended?

One does not simply walk into Egypt.

The Egyptian city. The city of Egypt. The city specifically built by Egypt.

(Since this seems to be a bug, do you have a save of the previous turn that reproduces this message?)
