Like the trading company, that does make sense.View attachment 738390
Seriously, Poland? Think that's getting you to the moon?
Seriously though, how about requiring a Colony or something?
I don't think so, looking through my saves it seems they just never disappeared.A lucky respawn?
It seems they got along (I think they never got at war and then the Kushans collapsed)Wow. How they survive Kushans?
I'm always so happy to see the AI successfully pull off an amphibious invasion. It looks like they brought a decent stack! Not only did the Ottos take Southern Italy, they did it with a series of amphibious operations. Not sure I've ever seen anything like this.

Yeah and I'd like to emphasize it was a deliberate, sustained, multi-turn operation. Up to now I've only witnessed (and rarely) no more than erratic one-off expeditions. My favorite stunt was when England discovered Nan Madol in probably the 1400s and forthwith sent a solder-laden Galleon Bee-ass-lining straight at it. The more routine occurrence is for either England, Neds, or France to send, again, a single ship to the Yucatan after Aztec collapse if cities are still native. I'm excited to see what might happen in later phases of the game as I'm only just running a first autoplay.I'm always so happy to see the AI successfully pull off an amphibious invasion. Was this actually using transports? No unit spawns? Not only did the Ottos take Southern Italy, they did it with a series of amphibious operations. Not sure I've ever seen anything like this.
This question did occur to me indeed and I might have made an unjustified deduction, which was simply "I saw Cogs nearby". Also it *isn't* my understanding that they *would* get unit spawns here in the first place. Would this presumption be mistaken? Was this actually using transports? No unit spawns?
