A lucky respawn?

I’ve noticed the Kushans are usually either do nothings or a superpower with little in between. The Spain of the East, if you would.

Spoiler :

Burma controlling most of SEA and going on the conquer the Mughals.

Not only did the Ottos take Southern Italy, they did it with a series of amphibious operations. Not sure I've ever seen anything like this.

I'm always so happy to see the AI successfully pull off an amphibious invasion. It looks like they brought a decent stack!

Yeah and I'd like to emphasize it was a deliberate, sustained, multi-turn operation. Up to now I've only witnessed (and rarely) no more than erratic one-off expeditions. My favorite stunt was when England discovered Nan Madol in probably the 1400s and forthwith sent a solder-laden Galleon Bee-ass-lining straight at it. The more routine occurrence is for either England, Neds, or France to send, again, a single ship to the Yucatan after Aztec collapse if cities are still native. I'm excited to see what might happen in later phases of the game as I'm only just running a first autoplay.

Was this actually using transports? No unit spawns?

(I guess it's telling that I expect a bug before I expect successful amphibious attacks.)
