after this i wouldn't continue the game. just don't like to see christianity holy city burned whiout chance to spread in europe. (and i also hate complete non-christian europe)
i wish there was a unit that spawned in jerusalem that could found christianity (maybe a unit that can do only one thing : build some special church, and when it is built christianity is founded in the city), i think that way there wouldn't be problems with christianity never being founded in it.

after this i wouldn't continue the game. just don't like to see christianity holy city burned whiout chance to spread in europe. (and i also hate complete non-christian europe)
i wish there was a unit that spawned in jerusalem that could found christianity (maybe a unit that can do only one thing : build some special church, and when it is built christianity is founded in the city), i think that way there wouldn't be problems with christianity never being founded in it.

what i think it's annoying it's how razing the holy city almost always happens. if only it was somenoe else founding it before Jerusalem or spreading like hell to Europe and etc it would be better.

congratulations, you relied in a strong economy to remain stable?

i once had a RAND germany game where i owned ALL of eurasia, including islands like japan, also had some possessions under vassals outside the continent. stability +56~ was my peak (around that, i'm not sure, but it was really very high). and won UHV, Space Race, and Domination, in the SAME turn

I don't have a screen but I was playing AD600 as the Russians and in 1852 I was the most powerful nation in the world. Things were going along just fine and I founded a three colonies in the 'New world' (shouldn't have done that since it decrease stability) and signed defense pact with 4 other nations also have a vassal of my own.(Aztecs) Then EVERYBODY who I didn't sign defense pact or vassal declared WAR on me and my allies (I have no idea why because they were all pleased with me). That is 10(Bad guys) Vs 6(My allies). The Great War has came early for me. O.O I think the AI suffer from anger issues cause there was constantly war in that game.

1852? were the germans the first ones? i think the thing was : germany dowed you, your allies dowed germany, german allies dowed your allies and you dowed german allies. don't you just love these world wars?

I'm with Duke of Britain, I think that is what happened

I tend to avoid defensive pacts at all costs in most of my games now, I find I get in a ridiculous amount of trouble and dragged into wars I have absolutely no interest in. Unless I happen to be planning a war myself, in which case I like to sign loads of defensive pacts and see how many of my new allies I can drag down with me
