Why is it that all the women I develop an attraction towards turn out to be spoken for?

Maybe you have an unconscious tendency to feel attracted to that kind of women since it means you won't actually have to get into a relationship (as in, deep down you're actually afraid of intimacy/relationships). Maybe you just have bad luck. Keep looking.

Because other people find attractive women attractive too.
Questions for native English speakers. What does "high" mean in "high concept" and "high elves"?
Of exalted rank, station, dignity, position, or estimation; of lofty, elevated or superior class.
For concepts, 'Advanced, abstruse, difficult to comprehend'
Of time or a season: Well advanced; fully come, complete.

Single.

Time.

Caffeine and alcohol can cause some dehydration. That could cause some increase in thirst. Some other things could as well.

Questions for native English speakers. What does "high" mean in "high concept" and "high elves"?

The previous answer appears to be incorrect, so I wanted to say this - "high concept" is a specific term referring to a kind of mass-marketed book/movie/form of expression. It's not really based on the definition of the word high. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_concept

"High elves" as a term also would be from much more specific background in the sense it often denotes a (fictional) ethnic/historical distinction - like the use of the term "high" in Germanic language groups or something. Though some other typical connotations may apply here, given typical traits associated with elves :D. But neither of these particular uses were necessarily in line with the dictionary definition, and I didn't want you to be led astray.

I've just come to expect every girl I'm attracted to will have a boyfriend already. Of course when I finally get a girlfriend I find a hotter girl who is more in line with my interests and such and is single. FTW.

This is easily the best answer I could've conceivably received. Thank you.

I think that the dictionary definition encompasses these meanings well enough, actually.
That high-concept is used disparagingly in that way is not something I've encountered. I have mostly encountered the term used, admittedly often pretentiously, in advertising spiel for new products or companies.
If you're from the US, perhaps there's a slight difference in common usage.

Why is it that shortly before a snowstorm or a rainstorm, most times I feel like I've been hit over the head with a board or something?

EDIT: For some reason "headache just before snowstorm" (sans quotes) got me a bunch of stuff about being stuck in traffic or something.

Also: WHY DOES GOOGLE HATE ME SO MUCH????

For americans: Have you ever met a western european living (and I mean LIVING) in the states? Wouldn't that make him/her one of the last western european immigrants?
