I can get bottled water for 25c per gallon here. I dont think gasoline has been that cheap...ever.

On that note, the only reason to buy bottled water is if your tap water tastes really bad (such as mine)

Agreed. I take a bottle of water along with me when I'm away from home, especially in the summer when it's easy to get dehydrated.

@Aimee: Do you know which city these two are planning to meet in? If so, contact the police there and report the situation. Even if they do nothing, your own conscience will be clear.

No I drink tap water. My roommates for some reason drink bottled water whining about the taste, there are people in Africa without acess to clean drinking water at all. Its despicable that something as simple as water is bottled and sold as a profit. Commodified by the capitalists.

Tap water in Ottawa is pretty gross, at least it doesn't taste like mud (Casselman, Ontario). I have one of those Brita filters.

I drink tap water from Lake Erie which doesnt taste that bad, especially since its been cleaned up quite a bit since the 70's when its tributaries caught on fire.
