Don't worry, Obama will do most of the things you wanted Romney to do, only better. It might
feel worse, I can't blame you and I respect that, and there will be very rational, thought through things you won't like in areas that Romney wouldn't have let you down. But...:
Obama's gonna be better on employment, and thus ultimately wages, and thus ultimately future growth.
Obama is going to better on the deficit. This might be hard to swallow, but history and economics are on his side. I can show you how if you feel like seeing some graphs and reading some jargon. But long story short: recession-based deficit spending is a small part of our long term fiscal problem and because it promotes faster growth (in a down economy, like ours), it is made up for in the medium-long term by higher tax revenues. It's like the tax cut theory only it actually works.
He will look bad in the process, as you can't go whole hog either way without causing problems in the other in the short run, and roping back and forth will look slow. But it will happen.
