He's a bounty hunter. There's a bounty involved. No more excuse for shooting first is required.

Exactly

My VHS tapes contradict yours. :p

I was going to make a post, but such an atrocity as the destruction of VHS tapes just saddens me enormously.

There's a joke here about how Darth Vader's sad devotion to that ancient religion couldn't conjure up the stolen data tapes???

No, it's just… sad. You just reminded me of how, back in the day, the video rental store got tired enough of a certain tot requesting the same films over and over that they lent them to us for enough time to borrow a VHS recorder (rather than a mere player, which was the most expensive thing us mortals could afford) and copy the entire trilogy. Those three pirated VHS tapes sit in my collection and… wow, it's outdated technology already. When our VHS finally dies there will be no replacement.

I just checked VHS player in my country already reach 200 usd. It can be a good investment if you buy it, the sooner the better.

Well, maybe, but when it finally dies my remaining tapes will also probably have died too, so there's no point in getting one. Getting an old Nintendo or SEGA console and a few cartridges might be a safer investment.

You could copy them to a DVD and only be 20 years behind.

I remember watching Cowboy Bebop, there was a scene that highlighted how the VHS and Beta player already becomes rare commodities with a cult like follower, I think that time will not be too far from now.

Hmmm… even if I found a way to transfer the data from the cartridge to a DVD, I don't think I have a console capable of playing that. They are programmed differently.

Pfffft! My cousin has a Betamax!

I always have dearer memory on Betamax than VHS, and I love the smell of it back then. It was related to lots of cartoon, garfield and Wuxia movie. My first VHS movie is Lion King.

The Saturday night rule is simple greed and it's smart. It's to separate the business traveler form the leisure flyers. It makes a lot of sense and has been used for a long time.
I still do not really understand it. As I understand it, "free market 101" says that 1 company could alter their price structure so as the price of the service more closely follow the cost of delivery of that service, and they should out-compete everyone else. How does this not happen in the airline industry?

Free market 101 says that you charge as much as the market will bear, while keeping costs as low as possible. Having the largest spread between costs and price is the goal. So long as certain categories of passengers are willing to pay more for certain services, then that's what will be charged.
