I'd like to weigh in that I'm also all for converting Age of Empires III units... AoE III is one of my favorite games.

Yea, any Civ 4 unit can be converted to Civ 3.

If you replaced one Civ4 unit with a Civ3 unit, then you would have to change them all, it wouldn't look right having only one good looking unit.

No, Civ 3 units are sprites. Civ 4 uses models. No way to convert from 3 to 4.

Yes, however because of the way units are used in Civ 4 the model has to be low polly.
