I agree, actually. It's tough. I think we're going to need a more blatant overreach ( or a painfully uncool Texan president ) to get people to notice again. I honestly wish they would start busting everyone for every tiny petty crime caught on any camera ( littering, jaywalking, smoking weed, spitting gum on the street. ) Not because I want that to happen, but because I wish people knew how much of the bare bones of a police state are already physically in place.
Will we ever have a police state? I would say the odds are very low, but not zero, and that's a problem when you have the framework in place already.

I didn't click the link but I just read the suspect's mother and father are saying they were set up and framed. And we know they were good kids just like Treyvon Martin's mother said her son was a good kid and didn't do anything wrong. So perhaps I was wrong about the bombers being right wing white male's. It must of have been that dark skinned man that CNN mentioned the other day.
I agree. The right wingers are nuts. They don't realize how much they have in common with these 2 bombers. I was right when I predicted (see higher up in the thread) that the bomber (I figured it was only one) was a right wing male. And I was right. These 2 bombers are right wingers (just not the type of right winger as you may think). They denounced the lack of values Americans had and bombed them because they have no morals. Sounds kind of like an anti-abortionist bomber.
So the right wingers should be careful. They will never be in power again. And soon they may see themselves facing military tribunals and losing their rights once the liberals get tyrannical once they are in power long enough (I give it another 20 years before the left oppresses the rights of the right).

Yea, we were all aware it was baseless and used the most circumstantial of evidence at the time. Mother Jones was the first publication to publicize the older brother's obvious affinity for radical Islam.

from what I've been hearing is religion didn't cause these 2 to bomb the marathon. It's unfair at this point to classify them as radical Islamic terrorists. It seems to me they were just a couple angry young men from a broken messed up family.
That didn't stop people from posting it or going on the news with it, right?
For the most part I would assume angry kids don't attract the attention of foreign governments without something else going on.
