US Capitol Breached

It also means people in the upper levels of national power accept outsiders from "lower class".

They always do that though.
1 of the 2 Counsuls every year had to be plebian in Rome, not patrician (both could and frequently were plebian), and capable New Men like Gaius Marius and Cicero always found a place.
Rich merchants married their children to the cash-strapped nobility throughout the Middle Ages.

The popular base of fascism is generally the lower middle classes, people with a little bit of capital and assets to their name. The kit a lot of these fash chuds bought and brought along, and the fact that they travelled from around the country at their own expense, and the apparent presence of a lot of police and former military types, suggests it's similar here, too.

Also the Trump/Republican vote itself correlates positively with asset ownership:

How many of those people are one major medical emergency away from bankruptcy and ruin?

When we talk of income inequality and economic pressures it goes beyond blanket numbers like the "poverty line", it deals with the perils and pressures of living in an ostentatiously rich society that fails to provide robust safety nets and assurances to its entire population equally and fairly.

If you own assets like a house or especially a small business, you're richer than if you don't own assets like a house.

Its prescient that the beginning of the end of the Roman Republic can be traced to a politician whipping up an angry mob to attack and kill a rival politician (Lucius Opimius and the Gracchi Brothers).

Even if we take your claims at face value (which we shouldn't), something doesn't start being moral because the people criticising it may have done something you don't like.

This post (much like Berzerker's) is making it about what the "opposition" (intentionally in scare quotes because you don't define this group. You're being vague on-purpose) deems "acceptable" so to justify current events. Nah. Either both sets of things are consistently bad, or you're being as bad as the group whose behaviour you're alleging is precedent. But you're picking the best from both as it suits you.

It's a weak attempt, thankfully.

This is a false dichotomy.

However, what I do find interesting is what you said on page #1 of this discussion:

I sure hope to see the same unilateral and solemn condemnation people treated the notable behaviour at the anti-racist protests to.

So I guess my question is does the same standard that you applied to my post also apply to yours? Can I just as easily dismiss what you said as a "weak attempt"?

so you believe there IS a fraud yes?

Voter fraud happened, but nowhere near to the extent Donald Trump claims and it would have happened on both sides, but not to the levels that would have made any difference to the outcome of the election.

Some moron used NORTH KOREAN FLAG in the riot, thinking it was a texas flag

S.Koreans are mocking in the twitter: Translated it says: you morons! that is Not a Teaxas flag bt N.Korean Flag.
How the heck can you mistake it ( texas flag) with N.Korean flag... It isn't even a flag of Chile...
Again proving that Trumpests probably hasn't even graduated kindergarden.

On reddit there are claims this was satire.

This was satire. This was at the first March in DC for Trump. He wanted to see if any trump supporters would notice or call him out. None did. That sign he’s holding is a picture of the trans pornstar named Bailey Jay doing dishes that reads: “listen up snowflakes, this is what a real woman looks like”

It's satire. My (I'm the guy pictured) sign was a picture of a Bailey Jay (a trans pornstar) that said "Hey snowflakes this is a real american woman" to poke fun at my country's misogyny problem as well. I trolled the maga rally before this as well but that was a little different.

[
I saw the original post on Facebook, it is satire. The guy went to a Trump rally like that to see if anyone would notice.

Unfortunately reddit doesn't allow linking to facebook, so the link was deleted for me to see myself.

Edit: I just had to keep reading....
I absolutely was trolling this is my sign

What's the difference between elitist and non-elitist society then?
In my opinion its the presence of "social lifts", whether people from lower class can raise to the ruling circles. Also, how common it is, whether it requires extraordinary circumstances and talents to get there. For example, in some cases the country can be ruled by almost close clique of nobility, in others, every second member of the government comes from worker or peasant family.

The hypocrisy of coverage/mindset regarding this compared to to summer riots is unfortunate.
It's true. The Right is quick to excuse the storming of the US Capitol but could not countenance Black protestors earlier. Truly astounding hypocrisy on the Right.

Sen Toomey of Pennsylvania is the second GOP senator to call on Trump to resign.

Clyburn says the House may wait until after Biden's first 100 days to send impeachment articles to the Senate, I guess to keep the deck clear for Biden to pass some bills. There is a precrdent for a post-term impeachment, which has the effect of barring the person from holding office again (if convicted) even though it won't remove them from office.

What summer riots? BLM was defanged after Trump called for SOB NFL players to be fired. That was a great peace-making moment, when the underlying concerns were heard, not mischaracterized, and then addressed by leadership.

While these protests were the inevitable boiling up of voters after learning that Cruz cheated the Iowa caucus primary in 2016.

Elitist society (ie most if not all) is where talentless jerks can reach important positions because of their birth, where those who come from "lower" orders are always looked down upon even when they succeed, where informal networks of who you know are as important as ability. A class or elitist society isn't totally rigid, thats a caste society.

That's close enough to my description.
In USSR having right connections was always very important for success, more than money. On the other hand, there was no such thing as "lower class" and respecting ordinary people was always considered as good manners.
Cuba is probably similar in that regard.
