President Nixon talking about his early life and his family (I'm 41 minutes in, so this as far as I've got.)

POPCORN IN BED

In her younger years, Cassie limited herself to rom-coms. In this series, she reacts to movies to movies she has never seen, e.g. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Apollo 13:

@Hygro makin a real effort to appreciate newer rap music, some of the stuff is pretty good, check out this song & video (already nearly 4 years old lol but whatever)

Like the vibes on this song and the video is beautiful, full of color

Haha it's the Wii lobby Bossa Nova new rap subgenre.

Ok maybe not full Hotline Bling :D I like the triplets in general. Old rap obviously had them in spades but hidden in complicated varying rhyme schemes, whereas now by staying on them keeps that rhythmic element, making it kind of like latin music. A combination of 3s and 4s in music faciliates more movement than just 3s (walts) or 4s (most of our music).

This one makes me hype AF (only people who likes rap trope lyrics should listen  ) What do you think?

The hook is a BANGER, I like the verses less, pretty good overall

(sorry I don't know enough music theory to sound that smart about it)

I definitely feel the part about "staying on" the triplets making it almost like Latin music, I also feel like trying to stay in the same scheme for the whole song kinda makes the flow less good because it's less variable. I like syncopation in my rap flows.

On a wider note I'm really feeling a lot of Cole's more recent stuff, I won't post it here because I posted that video in the "watching youtube" thread for a reason. But he's on a few tracks that are absolute bangers, including one that came out just this year with a guy called Benny the Butcher who I never heard of until then but I looked up some of his stuff too and he's pretty good as well.
