From the video:

The Greek writer Athenaus told of a man who tried the dish and said...

"It is natural for the Spartans be the bravest of men. For any man within his senses would rather die ten thousand times over, than live as miserably as this."

   I'm dead ☠️

Has anyone seen these?
Laughing my *** off at these short films.
Try therse
There was an even better one that i remember but i can't recall the name of it "All Suspects are guilty period, otherwise, they wouldn't be suspects would they?" and it was done like the old show COPS.

The last thing I had a watch of this afternoon was that tremendous product of Ugandan cinema, 'Who Killed Captain Alex'.

After watching Fall (2022), I got to wondering how lightbulbs on top of radio towers really are changed. Thus:

Yeah... I am not applying for that job. Found another one as well:

And an interview with the guy in that video: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...y-high-climb-passes-1-million-views/21616985/

Some people have nerves of steel... I'll let that guy in South Dakota have the monopoly on thousand-foot-plus radio tower selfies.

They are just hating the alphas :)
Though the covid break from school certainly will have lasting effects on the majority of those kids.

Another issue brought up is that it is obviously very easy to just google the answers to your math homework - back in the day we could not do that and had to solve stuff ourselves ^^

It tickles me that Elizabeth Zharoff, opera singer and YouTuber, and Will Ramos of deathcore band Lorna Shore are pals. Here they practice their 'opera face' before a performance of The Barber of Seville. Zharoff says it was Ramos' first opera. I look forward to their joint reaction video afterwards.

If you're not familiar with Zharoff, she's an opera singer and vocal coach. She's not your typical "reaction video" type. She really knows her [stuff]. I think she has two masters degrees. I like her videos because she doesn't just sit there making faces - although she does plenty of that - she really breaks down the song. You'll notice here she spends 28 minutes on a 6-minute song. She rewinds to listen to things again, and sometimes again. In the course of her YouTube channel, she's become a huge metal-head. She's also a huge nerd. When she references Nazguls, she's not just trying to sound cool to the kids.

Here's Zharoff's first reaction & analysis video to a Lorna Shore song, "To the Hellfire" (2021). If you're not familiar with deathcore, it's... um... well... brace yourself.

EDIT: Hey, I only just noticed the guitarist for Lorna Shore plays a 7-string guitar.
EDIT 2: [fig] these ads. jfc.

I grew up with my dad doing a lot of cryptic crosswords, and find them fascinating, but I'm really bad at them - I can tend to get a couple of clues right, but not much more. I can usually see how to get to an answer if you give it to me, but that doens't really help solving the crossword. So I watch other people sovling them instead:

I would like to invite you to watch a video about the Khanate of Kazan (Tatarstan Republic, Russia), where I live. Auto-translation of subtitles more or less works fine (to English at least)
I shall try this out, with or without English subtitles.

Ella Langley - Country Boy's Dream Girl (Official Visualizer)

Stumbled on a new artist tonight.
Meh. Good, but a bit generic.
I thought it was going to explode there and then.

I've scheduled these for later viewing, but now I know whence came the Asterix quote about Roman army cooking.
That spelling is pretty similar to mine, and the handwriting is better.
Not least due to its prima facie utterly erratic spelling, English is quite difficult to teach.
