What are you watching on Youtube right now? Part III.

Yeah. I agree. It made me think of this:

This video doesn't show it, but I remember seeing the girl who was injured being encouraged by her boyfriend to go through with it.

Radioactive oil (Google "petroleum radiation" and look at the first 3 results.)? Seriously Australia, is the wildlife trying to kill you not bad enough?

Apparently Osean fighter jets have radars that can detect fried chicken.

So I watched the movie Looper starring Bruce Willis and saw perhaps the most disturbing use of time travel I've ever seen.

***SPOILERS***

Spoiler :
So the mob is after this old guy because they want him dead but he escaped.
However, they are holding someone he cares about hostage and are willing to torture them until he turns himself in.

If the old guy gives up his life, they go free.
So who is it?

His 30 year younger self! :crazyeye:

No blood. No violence. Terrifying!

Anything with Lazlow Jones

Looper was cool but I hated the scene you linked to. Because it is fracking stupid. And it is not only annoying for being fracking stupid, but for being repeatedly and as it seems with pride and pleasure used in all kind of shows/movies.
When I time travel - I have time traveled! I am not carrying some weird time-signature, nor do my molecules need adjustment to the different time as in this one TOS episode. I traveled, and arrived at the destination. Just as I don't need a snow jacket when I traveled from Antarctica to Ecuador because I am no longer in Antarctica - I am also just another dude in what ever time I traveled.
But it seems irresistible awesome to assume that time travelers are somehow tied to their original time.

They're re-releasing AOE2 with marginally better graphics:

<snip>

Holy crap look at that!!!!

....I won't be buying it.

When I first heard about it, my reaction was WANT, but then I realised that I may as well just play the originals, since it's not like they're adding anything new to it.

I was hoping they would've remade the game with a 3D-engine like AOE3 or something. I was excited when I heard the announcement, then I watched the video and realized nothing of any real value has been added. I'm sticking to the original.

To my knowledge all the things mentioned are in fact not exclusive to humans (though I stopped at necrophilia). Necrophilia for one is really big in the animal kingdom. There is even functional necrophilia. Cannibalism? The same. What with Polar bear mums eating their children. Genocide? Look at rivaling ant colonies annihilating each other. Torture? Apes can have a whole lot of fun torturing each other. And doesn't a cat enjoy "playing" with its prey?
