Been replaying a new music video (parody) several times from an a cappella group at my University. Not sure if it's one of those videos you can only appreciate if you live here, but I really like a cappella anyway, and the beatboxing is pretty neat.

That was terrific.

They should make an album.

Which I would glady pirate off.

I'm not sure these compare with Royal Romance but the Univ. of Wisconsin band

Why isn't this being aired now? 150 years ago this country was torn apart, and you'd think it never happened. The single most significant event in this young nation's history, responsible for over 600,000 deaths, brother vs brother, and it seems like the country is willfully forgetting it.

Not only is that miniseries one of the best ever, but right now it's relevant. This music, this opening credit sequence alone evokes all the emotions of the time. It's a brilliant piece.

We need even more glorification of this tragic and senseless war that nobody has actually forgotten about, with the possible exception of what really occurred?

The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded a death knell of slavery. They who fired it were the greatest practical abolitionists this nation has produced.

The trouble is that those who try to glorify the Civil War, while claiming it was primarily about states rights instead of slavery, are typically many of the same people who continue to get us into even more senseless wars.

From the video I posted about:

We have an opportunity ... to get it right this time... That war put us on the path to true freedom in this country. I don't think we are quite there yet, but we have the opportunity ... to renew that commitment.

The only way to do that is to throw all literatures, movies, and etc. that consist of any glorification of past wars into a big gigantic fire pit, as the size of New Jersey or sumthin like that.

That would probably be a start. And so would the forced viewing of those which aren't, such as The Red Badge of Courage, Das Boot, and All Quiet on the Western Front.

Congratulations, you've just destroyed basically every historical primary source relating to war up to, say, the last two hundred years, along with the majority of similar sources after that cutoff. Way to put me out of a job, ass.

Please subscribe to this guy. Make good HD videos with really good songs. And the women are just a bonus.
