Temperance is the most impressive by far.
Any idiot with nothing to lose can be brave. Patience is just an excuse to be lazy & not take chances. Loyalty can be wonderful but it can also be similar to patience, loving the one you're with because you figure you won't be able to do better (and chalking it up as virtue).
But to resist & conquer your desires, to triumph over lust & gluttony & sloth & distraction. This is what magic & beauty are made of. Without some temperance you are not a man, not even a higher animal, shoot even monkeys can be trained to have a bit of it. With an abundance of it you elevate from puny man to a god!
