I have zero interest in any of the generations since mega-evolutions were introduced. That stuff is stupid.

Something that frustrates me is that they keep coming up with cool ideas, then dropping them next generation.

Mega-evolution? I can't wait to see what ones they come up with in Gen 7! But instead, we get Z-Moves. Pretty cool, and all Pokemon can use them. And now it's....dynamaxing? Why?

Yeah and it turns out now they're saying Dyanmaxing doesn't even actually grow the pokemon, it's some sort of projection. Really all of these gimmicks are dumb and the core mechanics are stale

Some of the mega-evolutions could've been regular evolutions, too.

I think I may just have to get the game. I'm intrigued. And I've HOI4ed myself out for the next little while, and I'm not quite ready to return to Skyrim, and I've been thinking about Minecraft for a while....

This is a good place to start.

Meanwhile, in my heavily modded version of the game, I have a room full of machines powered by a culinary generator. I'm running a factory off pork chops.

So I was going through the ending of Mass Effect 3 again, and I just realized...

Spoiler ending spoilers :
Why didn't the Reapers just turn off the teleporter beam into the Citadel?

Forward planning is not really their thing.

Why would you ask something so controversial, yet so brave?

Is it controversial?

That line is a meme

I am not well-versed in memes.

Bistromathics.

To me it seemed like Catalyst just treated the Reapers and the Cycle as an incredibly long-winded game. It controlled the stakes and results from the very beginning. Since the Reapers are ultimately a plaything for Catalyst, they wouldn't do anything Catalyst didn't want them to. Shepard was a welcome change and not something to be prevented.

But Harbinger almost killed Shepard!

Well, sure. Just because he's a welcome change doesn't mean you have to give him a red carpet. It's more fun to make him fight for it so desperately only to realize the game was rigged from the start.

And what if it wasn't Shepard to make it up there? I mean, Anderson 'followed you up.' Would he had also been a welcome change?

I doubt it. Anderson just sat in a chair for most of the trilogy. Close to zero involvement with the Reapers or origins thereof. He didn't "play the game."

I still don't know why the indoctrinated scientists in the Arrival DLC tried to sedate Shepard instead of just killing him/her. I guess because Harbinger told them to.

Harbinger seems a little obsessed with Shepard.

It seems it's time to turn my back on Blizzard for good. *sigh* I still have more games than I can play, but I was willing to make space for a rerun of Warcraft III or new and improved StarCraft. Now that they are helping China enforce censorship, Blizzard's not getting my money.
