What Video Games have you been playing II: Have you finished that backlog?

He will probably follow me into Oblivion if he could.

But honestly, I don't know. I don't want to know.

He's everywhere, that little monster. Everywhere, I tell you. Everybody's his spy, yes, that's it. Everybody's watching me for Glarthir. Everybody's Glarthir! Glarthir's everywhere! He knows. He knows... :shifty:

Glarthir's paranoia is enough to turn players parano-
psst. Over here!

Or, you know, get into some nice cover and shoot the git.

Yeah, that's how I deal with things when I hear once too often how I should stop by Belethor's.

It's weird and unrealistic, but I've actually had fun with the game these last couple days.. It's finally starting to engage me.

I totally didn't know you weren't supposed to attack the aliens though. Every turn I'd get a message saying: "There's aliens near your city!".. So I'd blow them away .. and had my soldier dude wandering around killing random aliens..

Then 2 hours later everyone suddenly hates me because I'm attacking the aliens.. I THOUGHT THEY WOULD KILL ME IF I DIDN'T..

Yeah it took me a whole game to realize that you didn't need to kill the aliens

Beware, they will snipe your units randomly though. So build fences as fast as you can, lest you lost workers and improvements to a siege worm!

Aha! I knew it! Glarthir wants to make me a murderer! That was his plan all along. And you were part of it, working for Glarthir! He's everywhere. That's it, you've been watching me, haven't you. Yes, I know it. Everybody is working for Glarthir, watching me. They watch me, he, Glarthir, watches me, wants to make me lose it. Wants to make me a murderer. Wants to make me go insane. But it won't work!

Aw man you evil lawbreaker. You should be nice to people other than the enemy side in the civil war.

Except Nazeem. Everybody hates Nazeem. Screw you Nazeem.

Nexuiz! ZOMG! What a game! Shooter derived from Quake but with far better graphics, weapons, victory conditions… after this I'll have to get into Warsow.

To be fair, my longest-running playthrough of Oblivion was as my Bosmer (Berne) vampire assassin (using Slof & Peter's outstanding 'Aundae Vampire' mod), so I was well-equipped for skullduggery. The cities of Cyrodiil are also so much better to sneak around in, rather than those in Skyrim.

While I was away I went back to play the Legend of Zelda games I either left unfinished or hadn't started (because they were a sequel to one I left unfinished). I ended up finishing A Link Between Worlds and I'm nearly at the end of Phantom Hourglass.

I usually play battlemages/spellswords. I did have a couple straight warrior playthroughs, though.

Of course, another alternative might just be for me to cast a frenzy spell on Glarthir. That'll show the little guy.

If only I could play BE on hard difficulties and actually know what I was doing. I couped two capitals with ARC (could've had a third in quick succession) and if I was wasn't lagging massively behind I could've done something with that. I could only sell them for a few credits.

I've forgotten how big the Deep Roads are.

And in general, how much time I can waste through Dragon Age: Origins!

Quick question: Do people in the UK go as bonkers over the release of the new Football Manager as we Americans do over the new Madden every year?

Oh... that football, not the silly American kind.

Forgive me, people of the world, for my American upbringing
