But in Skyrim, at least you look ugly in good quality graphics, as opposed to Oblivion. :)

Apparently they released a patch but yeah, still a little bummed how long it is taking for them to get out the Adeptus Astartes fleet.
Once I get a half-decent fleet together, we might have to have an online battle.

Apparently the patch didn't really fix anything according to people in the forums. The Eldar are still OP, online matchmaking is still broken, and a lot of people are upset that they took the taunt ability out of the game for no apparent reason.

I just don't get why small development studios set deadlines for themselves that they obviously can't meet. I wouldn't have been so peeved about the Space Marine fleet if they had just said "Hey, for purchasing the game in the first two months you'll get them when everyone else gets them, but you'll get them for free while everyone else has to pay." Then they could take as long as they want to release them and I wouldn't be mad. Instead, they decided to say we'd get them for free and get them a few weeks after release when they obviously weren't ready to release them a few weeks after release.

Makes me wonder just how long we are going to have to wait for the Tau fleet we were promised as well. The timeline on that said a few months after release, so I guess we'll get them sometime around 2020? This is the kind of stuff that really keeps a lot of people, myself included, from taking small development studios and indie developers seriously.

As for us online battling: We can if you want, but I gave up on multiplayer once I realized the matchmaking is completely broken so my fleet is still at level 1 with only two light cruisers. My first (and only) online battle put my level 1 fleet against a fully leveled up Chaos fleet.

Oh that's the worst. Other than this crash, how was the x64 version? More stable? Better frame rates?

I actually can't compare because I haven't loaded the game up in a while. So I mainly noticed gameplay changes such as new UI elements, slightly better atmospheric graphics, etc.

I'm not sure how much longer to wait before the game is stable? I really want to get deep into a space program save, but if things continue crashing I would rather wait until they release something more stable.

I've started a new game [of Stellaris], this time with slaves and a decadent trait. :whipped: Whoa, this is a little tricky.

I'm getting the hang of slavery now, but have discovered my 50% setting for slavery-tolerance during the pre-game set up was a big mistake. My citizenry is now unhappy.

Due to excess planets, I've had to split my empire into two sectors, and one of them is seriously thinking of rebelling.

Slavery seems pretty pointless unless you go all-in and your species is specifically tailored to it. It appears that unless all your people are fanatical collectivists you'll lose more yields to unhappiness than you gain.
I think the game still needs some pretty big balance overhauls.

Trigger warning, NSFW border gore:

And yes that is the last remnants of Hitlers Reich holding out in Bulgaria, also, Dutch Communists in Berlin.

Game seems to go a little wonky towards the end... :crazyeye:. I hope it can go to a Allies v Comintern war so I can test the Dutch Homeland Mega Fortress equipped with super heavy tanks against the Hordes.

Unfortunately, the Elves didn't just get hit with the ugly stick, but rather the entire damn tree! The default Bosmer could stab someone to death with his chin!

I liked the Skyrim faces. It felt like a return to the highly angular faces of Morrowind.
I decided to pick up Pike and Shot: Campaigns even though it wasn't on sale because a friend highly recommended it. Considering I managed to lose on the second tutorial, I'm not sure if I'm terrible or the AI is just really good.

Some of them were pretty decent, yes, but the ugly ones were really ugly. Seriously, the default Bosmer's chin was almost literally conical!

Jesus, t/w, that's the worst border gore I've ever seen in Paradox.

Khajit were never ugly.

Recently finished Mafia 2. I played the story through in one weekend, and now I'm fooling around and testing the game's physics and explorability.

dota 2 and civ 5 consistently, with some dragon age: inquisition mixed in there

i haven't played the binding of isaac in a while so i expect i'll be picking that back up sometime soon

Rising Star and the glorious season 3 blue boost is now mine. (Rocket League)

I played 10 games of World of Tanks yesterday, and boy am I rusty. It's PvP-only and gets updated frequently, so it's really unforgiving of taking time off.

I was playing Dragon Age Inquisition again this weekend.
It's one of those games that I remember being positively surprised and disappointed at at the same time. The longer I didn't play it the more I remeberd the bad stuff, like the combat which is neither terrible nor good. I didn't even finish it because it wasted my time with too many collectibles and I kind of burned out before the end - no spoilers please.

I abandoned the old game and started fresh with a female Dalish Elf rogue and am enjoying it so far. I'll finish it this time and not waste my time in this mortal coil looking for shards and other nonsense.

Played Grim Dawn for few months now, grew tired of it finally. Considering buying Diablo 3 now since it has gotten a lot of good updates since its release. Also looking for more ARPGs to waste these unbearably hot days on.
