What would you ask a person who knew everything?

You do realize that a burglar alarm / tree falling does in fact not make a sound at all. They create sound waves which only receive an audible quality due to the workings of the ear. So technically, the answer to the "if a tree falls in the forest" question is no.

1. "Do you wipe standing up or sitting down?"

2. "What is love?"

3. "Are there any supernatural forces, such as 'God', or gods?"

4. "If you answered #3 in the affirmative, then could you please elaborate on all pertinent details (such as the existence and nature of an afterlife, the nature of this supernatural force(s), how everything began, etc.)

5. "Could you provide your long-form birth certificate, please?"

6. "Paper or plastic?"

7. "How can I personally most effectively contribute to the continuation and evolution of the human species?"

8. "What are the cures to every illness and disease, known and unknown?"

9. "How can I most effectively woo the womenfolk?"

10. "Will you directly implant all of your knowledge into my brain?"

1. I dont whipe I whip.
2. What is not love?
3. There is only one supernatural thing and it is this world everything else is perfectly normal.
4. -
5. I dont need one.
6. Paper and plastic.

9.Thats a good question!!!:p
10. No, you will have to go beyond physical mind represented by the brain to get more knowledge.

I would ask him what questions I should ask him. It would save a lot of time.

Yes, that is the one I also would go with.

Chance perhaps. This is a philosophical question that there are varying opinions on.

Okay, we have the laws of nature, not the ones from scientists, but the ones that nature follows. Yet the laws of nature don't explain humans, as there is something else - chance.

My point is that humans are not the only species that hears.

No, humans are part of nature too.

I would call sound waves sound. That makes the example more relevant to this thread.

It's rare that I can make a contribution that includes a yet to be mentioned scientific fact. I'll be on 30,000 posts before I can parlay one into a post that also fits contextually.

No, humans are part of nature too.

I am confused.

The laws of nature has nothing to do with humans.
Nature follows the laws of nature.
Humans are part of nature too.
So I get this: The laws of nature has to do with humans and has nothing to do with humans.

I didn't say the laws of nature have nothing to do with humans; I do't know where you got that from. I said that the existance of the laws of nature is not contingent on the existance of people.

The questions you should ask him might not be the questions you want to ask him, or the questions that are productive.
Ah, but if they're the questions I should ask him, I should be asking them regardless of whether they're desirable or productive.

...Or I could aks what desirable or productive questions would be. We've got room to work with this one.

I would ask him what questions I should ask him. It would save a lot of time.

It'd probably be "How do I become as wise as you, o wiseth one?".

What form of Christianity is the closest to the one you taught? (Since this person is Jesus Christ, duh.)

How do I convert the most people to Christianity possible so they don't go to Hell?

Can you take me back 1 million years into the past (The answer to this one is no:p)

Supposing this person knows everything, they would have "insider information" with the stock market. I would ask this person which stocks I should buy, based on in insider information, put all the money I have into those stocks, and maybe even take out loans to make the money even more.

Then get rich.
