I can totally see that point of view and sometimes I'll find myself nodding and saying "Yeah, it's all pretty nice!"

But then there's times when I look at it and want to throw up.

Skyscrapercity.com has a huge Polish presence - making it easy for me to follow construction projects all across the country. They document EVERYTHING.. in a lot of detail. It's pretty crazy, really.. I'll be chatting with my parents and I can turn to my dad and say: "You know your hometown? That little town you were born in? Did you know that they're building a new theatre and stadium?" And then give him very specific details on the progress of both

What countries are those and what is that a reference to? (aside from Russia and Poland)

Such as scraping the sky.

Uhm, no - such as being business centers that occupy less of precious space / ground than shorter buildings.

Painstaking community with passion and enthusiasm. What is so crazy about this? Maybe crazy - but in a positive way.

Skyscrapercity.com Polish community is also doing a lot of good contribution to renovation and preservation of historical treasures such as castles.

In general there are only positive aspects of this community. And you can find some great photos of various buildings there.

Nah, I was born in Wroclaw, lived in Czestochowa, and since then I've defected to Canada.

So my guess that you are a Polonus (member of Polish diaspora) was right.

When exactly have you defected to Canada (which year)? Maybe you are my relative, because I have family relatives in Canada... :)

Where in Canada do you live? Maybe near Vancouver?

I honestly don't know. I just spent a lot of time trawling through Polandball comix and that was the least objectionable one I found.

I wish I hadn't posted it now.

The flags correspond to no known countries.

Well I hope you feel bad about yourself because that comic will now forever remain a mystery to me.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are the countries.

It's funny because Estonia laughs even though it's ethnically not a Baltic state.

Is that a historical reference to something though? When did the Baltic states provoke Russia and get it to destroy Poland?

Yeah, that's what I don't get. It's probably just a Polandball for the sake of Polandball.

I'm thinking it could be The Deluge? But I think you could blame the Ukrainians for that.

Well.. thanks for that amazing insight I guess.

And we're probably not related because I have royal blood. One day I will return to Poland as the rightful ruler of all things Polish.

Poland Ball can not into EU or Netherlands

But Russian President can Poland.

O.K. but WHERE is Poland?:dunno:
My guess is that you ARE in Poland already since after all Poland seem not to be a place but rather a state of mind.:D
You know, The Kingdom of Poland is within you...
