Episode 2 of Fringe: The woman who gave birth to the doomed, fast-aging baby was Betty Gilpin from GLOW.
Oh, I thought you'd watched the whole first season. I'm glad I didn't write about Avasarala secretly being Amos' mom, like I almost did, that'd be a huge spoiler.

Meanwhile, I'm about halfway through season 2 of Mindhunter and enjoying it so far. It takes a while to get around to the season's central crime-mystery, but I think the characters are the center of this show anyway, not the crimes they work. As an aside, the guy who plays Jim Barney keeps throwing me off-balance with his facial expressions during the interviews. I keep reading his face as impatient, or even angry, like he's constantly on the edge of losing it and going postal on the person they're interviewing. But I don't think that's right, I think he's supposed to be an experienced agent; Greg is the inexperienced guy who gets flustered, not Jim.
I was wondering about that series, so thanks for the recommendation.I started watching "Better than us". It is a Russian TV series about robots on Netflix. I am pleasantly surprised how good it is. All subtitled and looks to be shot in Russia. The story line is good and the fx while small are really well done. I'm up to episode 3!
wth new is wrong with you?High School Musical! Well, now I need to get it.

Loved Aya in You're the Worst, and definitely recommend the show as the entire cast is amazing. It can be very raunchy at times, which would normally turn me off, but the show had such great characters and endearing storylines that I overlooked it for the most part.I also read that the White Nationalist supe Stormfront will be gender-flipped. She's being played by Aya Cash, whom I've never seen in anything (she was in a show called You're the Worst).
I've seen and read about plenty of women involved in extremist groups from White Nationalists on one side to Antifa on the other. Gender seems to be a non-determinative factor with regards to these types of ideologies. However, how openly it's advocated appears to be gender-biased imo.I know nothing about the character, but the gender-swap is interesting because American neo-Nazism/White Nationalism appears to be such a male phenomenon, I guess I just assume that they're misogynist too.
I'll add it to the list of shows I'd like to watch if I decide I don't need to sleep again.Loved Aya in You're the Worst, and definitely recommend the show as the entire cast is amazing. And, as if on cue, I read in the paper this morning about Jean Cramer, candidate for Marysvlle, MI City Council. At a public forum, Ms. Cramer replied to a question about foreign-born residents, "Keep Marysville a white community as much as possible. White. Seriously. In other words, no foreign-born, no foreign people." She added, "Husband and wife need to be same race. Same thing with kids. That's how it's been from the beginning of, how can I say, when God created the heaven and the earth." I mean, wow. Some days, I have a hard time believing people like this actually exist. She's like a caricature. She has since withdrawn her candidacy for city council, fwiw.I've seen and read about plenty of women involved in extremist groups from White Nationalists on one side to Antifa on the other. I enjoyed the first season, but haven't had the time to start the second.Yesterday we finished Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
iZombie was a show I enjoyed in its weekly format. I probably wouldn't "binge watch" it, though. Also — thanks to @Timsup2nothin and @EgonSpengler's convo on the previous page — tried Ep.1 of iZombie. I liked all 3 leads, but not sure yet if I'll (have time/inclination to) stick with it through 5 whole seasons. I liked it better than Ep.1 of Grimm*, though...
That probably has a lot to do with business. Netflix's deal with Marvel has expired - and Netflix is pouring unbelievable amounts of money into producing original content - so even though they still can stream those shows, they're less motivated to promote them. Those lists - "Recently Added"; "You Might Like"; "Continue Watching"; "New in [Genre]" - aren't purely customer-service, they're more like tailored adverts.Spoiler * :It's now months since I watched Ep.1, and I never looked at that show again, so I don't really understand why it's still sitting in my Netflix 'Continue watching' list — does anyone know any way to eject it?
Strangely, similar prompts to pick up Jessica Jones S2 have already disappeared, even though I watched the entire first season, and am still working my way through S1 of Luke Cage.

Oh yeah, tell me about it.Those lists - "Recently Added"; "You Might Like"; "Continue Watching"; "New in [Genre]" - aren't purely customer-service, they're more like tailored adverts.
