Ummmm, sorry to clog the other thread with this...
but I am still asking for advice on which nation to play.

al-Muwahhidun looks interesting. Now Tver seems to be open. What to do?

Go with Tver if you want a more conventional NESing experience.

You're fine, it's all Kara's fault :)

al-Muwahhidun is pretty unstable, and I have a feeling (I have no idea for sure) that it's neighbors are watching it like vultures. Tver would probably be an easier option.

Moderator Action: This is a much better place for such chatting.

Prinny took Tver, so I think that's taken. al-Muwahhidun is OK if you don't mind being incredibly in debt, on the point of collapse, and at war with Liyun, a significantly more powerful state with an experienced NESer at its head.

The Muwahhidun don't have any debt, but they do have a yearly deficit and no war-chest, so they probably will be contracting debt in the near future.

Liyun, on the other hand, has no treasury, a similar yearly deficit, and two million taris of debt.

Yeah, I'm not sure why the Muwahhidun are getting so much hate. :dunno:

Standing armies are about as relevant to them as a standing navy is to me. The same applies for income.

Though the ability of the Dhahabis to even obtain credit given their sect's strict prohibition on usury is...questionable.

It's started, but the first update hasn't happened yet. Orders are due on Friday.

Just to say. I am too scared of some nations to commit diplomacy. If you want aid from Volynian's strategic position, please contact me. I had my fill of misplacing introduction diplomacy.
