While We Wait: Boredom Strikes Back

The only reason that women don't have pay equality is because they don't want too. There are a lot of high-paying, dangerous jobs out there with manufacturing, fishing, heavy equipment ect that are male dominated. Also, research shows that there are less women than men managers because women usually won't climb the ladder that far (kudos for those that do!) because of the need to socialize.

Of course, these are just generalizations: plenty of women do dangerous jobs or manage. It is just statistically, even if given equal oppertunities, fewer women than men will take higher-paying jobs because they like their freedom-time to socialize, raise kids, and the like.

:D

Did the update come?

EDIT: Oh well, time to show you my secret weapon. You DON'T know anything about it. But it is awesome.

I'm confused, is Karalysia actually female? I thought females were banned here.

Silver is trolling trying on a new identity.

Imperial Glory is back on again, I encourage you to check it out :)

How many years have you been waiting to to do that?

As a team, 38. As an individual, 22.

My thanks to whoever it was that predicted Yankees in 5 on #nes :D

Now you know how I felt when Hartley drilled the FG in OT last postseason to beat the Minnesota Brett Favre Brett Favre Brett Favres. :D
Question: what do you personally think would have happened had Von Kluck and his First Army gone with the original plan rather than decide to take a detour through Paris?
Which "original" plan do you mean? :p

Going further south-east past Paris.

Going further south-east past Paris.
South-east? Well, for one thing, Paris itself wasn't specifically a feature of prewar planning. Moltke and Schlieffen were intelligent enough to understand that attempting to plan out the entire campaign before the war would result in a busted plan very, very quickly.

As for the actual movement southwest towards Paris, it was actually ordered by Moltke in the aftermath of the BEF's disengagement and the battles of Morhange, Sarrebourg, and in the Ardennes, as part of the general offensive all German armies embarked on in the last week of August. The Second Army was instructed to move on Paris itself. That in itself wasn't Kluck and Kuhl's "fault", as it were.

South-west I meant*

Ah, ok: after I read your article, I went and read Wikipedia. Wikipedia in a couple of places says that Kluck on his own decided to head straight for Paris (causing the Battle of the Marne), rather than continue on past and be in a position to threaten Paris from the west, enveloping it of sorts. Wikipedia, however, is not the most reliable of sources.

Yeah, the problem with circling around Paris is that it relied on the inner German armies - Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth - to keep a reasonable distance between each other and not get too isolated individually. But the Fourth and Fifth Armies were drawn into the battles around Verdun, and Hausen's Third was locking horns with Foch's Ninth Army around the St.-Gond Marshes. So even passing east of Paris, the First Army was somewhat isolated from the rest.

:D
Although there are still numerous situations where equally difficult jobs pay different genders different amounts, so that's not the entirety of the story.
