Me! me! me! attention Me!

To players in GermaNES: War between Brothers, I have time to finish the NES now if you are interested in returning.

Following the end one way or the other, I have decided instead of doing a WWII Commander NES I will do another NES like Dreadnoughts Dr. NES.
Will there be any interest for this? If Dreadnought reads this... I would like to ask your permission to copy your ruleset. (You will also receive a PM)

It must all seem strange to them to anyone casually looking at my monitor...

Interesting map you have there.

This is why I always find a way to hide my screen from others :p

My colleagues would have found it awesome, not strange. Then again, we held Starcraft watching parties. :dunno:

My friends seeing me edit maps has actually been beneficial to the NES community. One of my friends (Soldierchild) is currently playing in EQ's NES as a result of watching me make the map from my first NES, and I have several others who are interested and might join at some point or another. I also think I should mention, while they do of course have a casual interests in topics related to NESing, none of them are huge strategy and/or history buffs either. At least not to the extent some other people on here are anyways.

TO ALL, I will be gone for about a week from now. It's a festival thing. Only expect me coming back drunk. Goodiebuhbye.

Hahahaha.
Most of it is dismissed as fringe science and astrology. Granted, there are some effects from the predicted solar activity (or lack of? Can't recall but sunspots are expected to go pretty mad in 2012) but I really don't think global catastrophe will happen. Y2K bug much?

Now that site had an interesting prediction: -

- There will be a 2009 winter/spring natural disaster, which caused people to become angry about government response.

So, some time in 2009 (in any time of the year because winter/spring covers 6 months times 2 for both hemispheres), there will be a natural disaster
And people will be angry with govt response.

How about I predict that you will have to make a decision tomorrow? And I really recommend you think before you make that decision?

Such ambiguous predictions is what make people believe in astrology even though they're providing the answers themselves.

Definitely. I want to find out how well my defence strategy worked.

I have been toying with the idea of running a NES like DOOM but with modern, or near future, special forces instead of mercenaries. I would be compelled to join any re-running or NES similar to DOOM NES, almost without exception.

You know what NES I've always wanted to see? A NES with the same idea as Time's Eye. Basically Earth becomes a conglomerate of different time periods, from prehistory to 2037 in the novel. It'd be pretty cool, since you'd have guns fighting along with swords, but of course you'd have limited ammunition and such.
