Speaking of drawing, I was bored this evening, so I drew something with my sister's tablet. I'm not an artist and this is the first time I've tried to draw something in a long time.

I like it.

Doesn't mean its not sufficient for NES maps however, I was talking about creating art ;)

I finally broke down and DLed Paint.NET and the GIMP last week.

I'm very impressed so far.

Get orders in for N3S III, please.

Also, a post to announce I will be vacationing from Tuesday for about a week.

The above two sentences are indeed connected.

I like your post-modernist deconstructionist approach, with the implicit critique of bat as object. The totem-esque pseudo-representation of the hands-holding-bat ensemble bespeaks the alienating warmth of a post-industrial meta-combat society wherein human aggression is diffused and ultimately placated.

This ironic, subtle critique is only implied, but in its implication could be nothing but brutally forward.

So I think I finally have a working space exploration and colonization ruleset. Here's an example of a small part of the overall stats for your commenting pleasure:

I like this. :goodjob:

Basically to clarify my above idea: there will be individual sections for sectors to list the planets and solar bodies available in each sector. At the start there will only be four to five actual traditional nations. The fun part is that you can create (ala fresh start) a pirate company, colonial endeavor, or a corporation. So if you want a military game (pirate), a domestic game (colonist) or both (corporation) you can from the very beginning jump right into what you want to do. Ultimately there woul be aliens as well as the growing powers which enter at the beginning.

Actually, with PDN. I've had experience with the GIMP before, and while it was all right I find it's less user-friendly. Plus, I dun like the load times. But if I have to work with large images, GIMP's where I go.
