Terrance, you have consistently spammed and flamed my presence on this board for the last week or so. I have been largely civil in the discourse, telling you flatly that your suggestions are not what I have in mind and that your questions are not exactly good ones. I am only giving you my honest responses to your queries. If you ask me a ridiculously broad question, yes, I will respond "It depends", because I feel any good mod does not make absolutes -- and any good NES does not contain them.
He doesn't want mentions of certain other NESes
Incorrect. You can mention other NESes all you want, but after that mention, if I tell you flatly, "That isn't what I have in mind, actually," I expect the conversation to move on -- not linger.

Oh my! What a severe, stern requirement for logical discourse on a concept! I prefer if you actually
read what I have to say, before commenting! Remarkable.

make long suggestion/history/rhetorical question answers and specific talking points instead of open-ended questions.
Not quite sure what you mean by this, but it appears that you are mocking other members of the community whose feedback I actually appreciated. I didn't want any hard feelings, Terrance -- I'm not that kind of guy. I believe it's appropriate to direct conversation one way and not the other, and to flatly tell people if their suggestion is not what I had in mind, or their question was too broad, or give a reply that indicates a variety of factors contribute to the answer to the said question(s). I've been patient with you throughout this experience, tolerating (essentially) a hijacking of my original thread. But this is an open forum, so tolerating such manners is par for the course. As I've told you, I appreciate your feedback, but I also did not find it particularly useful. I have no doubt you have a variety of clever things to add to a NES, but the comments, suggestions, questions, etc. you have posed to me have veered from my original idea altogether, and indicate that you have not clearly read my concepts or input from other members of the forum. It therefore amounts to spamming.
I hope you'll consider these words, and be civil in your response to them. Don't lose your cool so easily, and if you make a suggestion that does not hit a perfect note to another NESer, do not take it as an offense.
