Why do you enjoy obese kids

I think its because it makes slimmer people feel better about themselves. Thats how i feel anyway. :mischief:

I know people who are obviously overweight, know about it, claim to try to do something about it, but then during the coffee brake they stuff their faces triumphantly with the last peace of cake, makes me sick when I see that.

But its their busyness, not mine, so I keep out of their face.

Its because of the parents and society in general that stuff kids with candy at an early age, and then later when they do have a mind of their own they are already programed with an unhealthy self gratifying "treat" system, and are basically F'ed. Requiring some sort of psychologist intervention, but this is often the case, parents are F'ed them selfs already and do not know better.

Its the Ciiiiiircle of life! (cue "Lion King")

Just remember that the toes you step on and hurt WILL be the toes you will have to kiss in the future. And this includes when you hurt obese people with insults.

It just makes me sick to see people making fun of people who are physically different than you. Just makes me wonder when the rest of the world will grow up and quit acting like Middle Schoolers!

An excellent joke just came into my mind but apparently humour flys right over the heads of the people in this forum. Honestly, do you really think all the people in this thread jump at fat people in the streets pointing and yelling "LOOK! LOOK AT THE FAT GUY! WANNA TWINKIE FATSO?" and jiggle them? No, be realistic. People seriously have to stop being so sensitive.

That was hardly an insult.

Believe me, I've been through it and I will tell you that it is not fun being picked on just because of one's weight. To this day (Eventhough I am lighter) It still churns my stomach to see immature people, including adults, picking on overwieght people, just because they are different or heavy set.

Put yourself in that person's shoes and tell me how it feels when you were picked on just because of your weight.

I get crap from jerks all the time, be it words or violence. Life is tough, deal dont complain.

Well I will tell you its HARD to deal with it when there are deep scars because of it . Dealing with it is not a simple solution for me, so I will complain about it when I see OTHERS doing the same thing to OTHER people.

I can't see how being happy you're slimmer than someone else is insulting.

yeah, yeah, so because you have "deep scars" no one can make a fat-joke EVER?

You could be second fattest guy on earth and still be happy about being slimmer than someone else. Its completely meaningless.

Why do people have to feel theyre better than someone else, in order to feel good about themselves? Thats weakness and its BS.
Why cant you feel good about yourselves anyway?

Im not sayin fat kids arent funny, theyre defenitly funnier than thin kids, but I dont feel all warm and fuzzy inside because Im better looking than them, I dont have to.

My self esteem is high enough without that, thank you very much.

Making fun of overweight people is not right. Even if they don't deserve pity, it still does not grant you the right to make fun of them just because of their weight.

we're not talking about a person being born mentally ********, a condition someone can't control or prevent, we're talking about overweight and obese people. Fat people choose to be overweight because all they have to do is stop stuffing their faces and get outside to run, or walk, or anything. the reason I laugh at them, is that they could be so much better, health wise and easier on the eyes, if they would just stop being so damn lazy.

btw, CG, good job on working to get your weight down, that's the type of ethic most overweight people need to learn. the problem is, most fat people don't want to put forth the effort, instead they just moan about their weight problems, while snacking on a bag of Doritos and watching a TV marathon.

This is the funniest obese kid ever.

There is much more to it than just being lazy, amongst other things it can be a cycle of depressions that keep people from seizing the day. Bullied people as a rule have very poor self esteem.

so we're supposed to pity them for being to sad to "sieze the day"? It is lazy-ness because no one but themselves can change their position and they simply are too busy doing everything but helping themselves. If they're depressed then they should get un-depressed so they can help their situation.

You obviously have little experience of depressions, lucky you!

what difference does it make? Depression could be the hardest thing to get out of in the world but that doesnt change their situation. Theyre still to lazy to stop being depressed and stop being fat and thus shouldnt complain.

EDIT: by your logic, blacks in the USA should of never tried for suffrage because they were always gonna be black and thus shouldnt try.

Me:"You obviously have little experience of depressions, lucky you!"

You:"Theyre still to lazy to stop being depressed and stop being fat and thus shouldnt complain."

I rest my case...

"to lazy to stop being depressed", man you're silly!

my main point is that whether theyre depressed or not is irrelevent because they should have the will to pick up their lives. What youre implying that once someone has been deemed depressed, they might as well put a bullet in their brain because theres no more hope in life. If they cant and all they can do is just wallow in sorrow, then they dont deserve my pitty anyways and that brings us back to the begining of the arguement.

What I am implying is that if someone is seriously depressed, as are a lot of people with problems of all kinds, that person very often needs help from someone else to get out of said depression. It is not a matter of laziness.

"they might as well put a bullet in their brain", where did you get that one from, Mr silly pants?
