Thats because alcohol is legal. If pot were legal, dont you think the problem of people driving high would also be a much bigger problem than it currently is?

Yep, there are tests that the police can effectuate to gauge whether someone is on MJ or not. I use some of them on friends to deermine whether they're physically able to go out.
While we're there, it's fairly easy to get away with a drunk-driving accident if you have the knowledge and ability.

I've driven well over a million miles in my life, some under the influence of pot, some buzzed and some drunk - no comparison. The people who think they are comparable are worse than Hitler.

The people who think ganja gets you "drunk" like alcohol aren't as evil as Hitler, but they are in large part responsible for marijuana being illegal today.

I don't know about that. I know use of cannabis is not that high in the Netherlands. If those are related, I don't think legalising will increase high driving. Of course, high driving is and should always be illegal, just like drunk driving.
I know drunk people are more likely to be more confident about their ability to drive. Stoned people rather would crash on somone's couch to drive home in the morning. Speaking mainly anecdotal from experience here.
Also, people tend to think that in Holland smoking weed is looked upon with aproval, that it's seen as some sort of national pasttime to be proud of. It's not. It is still frowned upon however condoned it may be by the goverment.
