Would you ever join the military?

I don't think I really have the right constitution for military service. I've never seriously considered it.

No, but I would much rather join the Canadian military than the American military if I had to join the military.

Apart from having issues with those in authority in my younger days I did consider it and think it would have been a great time if I had gotten over the having to do what your told part of it.

I joined the army. Though had I lived in America I would probably have joined the navy.

USN FTW!

I plan on joining the Navy and going to OCS once I finish my BA. But if Hillary gets elected, and I have to fullfill my expatriate obligation and go to England, I may just sign up for Her Majesty's Royal Navy.

If I were fit for the Army I would probably join in a blink of an eye. I just have this strange attraction to demolition.

I served in the Marines for four years when I was younger. I don't regret it. I was more conservative back then, though. With our current leadership, I don't know if I would make the same decision again.

I was conscripted, so yes I did join, albeit not entirely voluntary.

I wouldn't have joined if I didn't have to, though :)

Yep and did, was in the Marines for 5 years until i found my self in a rolled over Hum-v and an arm that was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

didn't lose the arm (somehow), but they still put me on medical retirement. If it wasn't for that, I would still be in the marines.

Im joining the RAF or RN fleet air arm after i finish University, so yes i will be joining the military in the future

No, I am quite anti-militarist. At least mostly because of what the military has been doing lately (butt budies for America and their war of imperialism)
