No I'm not going to kill them. Everyone makes mistake (some are bigger than others sure but I can forgive them. Ok, I will try to forgive them but if I'm going to die then I might do something constructive rather than killing someone. They're going to die anyway, why waste my energy killing them?).

QFT. Besides, killing them probably kills the only people who have a chance in hell of figuring out how to save us all, past screw-ups notwithstanding.

Ideed. If you're heading though time, just take the data gathered by future-Nasa back to Pre-Impact-Nasa so they simply modify or cancel the mission.
