Hi guys !

First of all I'd like to thanks all participants for their top notch works and the guys that voted for Zigra. That's really motivating and kind.

Unfortunately, I've realized I posted a faulty preview of my work and thus I can't accept the shared award : Even if I thought I did, I've forgotten to include the actual palette in the preview and I've used the default full RBG palette instead. As you can see, the Ray Attack and the Death aren't as smoothly colored in the 256 colors palette as in the full RBG preview. It might not be a big difference, but it's largely enough for me to withdraw, especially when the votes were so close.

To be thoroughly fair, the Attack Ray animation looks better in-game than this as I've used here the general palette rather than the particular palette that includes more yellow-red but you get the gist.

Once again, I'm sorry for this mess.
 
While there is some difference, i think you should keep the shared award. There is no precedent of a cancellation of an award, and by now it seems these contests are mostly for fun anyway :)
 
As you were both voted waaaaay ahead of the other contestants (each of you got one third of the votes, the other third split between the other two), I think it wouldn't be wrong for you to keep it.
 
While it has happened, part of the rules state that the file should be previewed as it looks in-game. I think we should stick to that rule ;)

But this is not reason enough in my view to cancel a victory, moreso when there was no bad intention to begin with.
