Yea the Lakers had a choice...if Kwame Brown could shoot within 2 feet, if Smush Parker could shoot ANYWHERE, if the Lakers knew how to defend Phoenix's backup pointguard, and IF KOBE TOOK MORE THAN 3 SHOTS IN A HALF.

Unexcusable. Kobe Bryant is no Michael Jordan, he is lucky if he is the next Dominique Wilkins

For all those "Lebron is the next Jordan" supporters (which I do not agree with by any means) I would like to emphasize the beatdown my Pistons gave his team Sunday. See, the Pistons are a slightly beeter team then the Wizards, and it's fun to see Lebron get a taste of real playoff basketball.

Also, Kobe Bryant is not a Micheal Jordan. Last time I checked, he did not have the MVP's, or championships of Jordan, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Dominique never raped anyone :p I think Kobe knew he was beat in the 2nd half, and probably wanted to make a big point about how he had no talent around him. But it was disrespectful to his teammates IMO. He seems to be the definition of selfish sometimes.

About the Lakers though, Parker totally lost his confidence a couple games back, as did Kwame. It all started with the shift into fastbreak basketball. A lot of people were predicting a blow out in game 7, and that's exactly what happened. You could see it coming.

@Tombeef

Yes Lebron is gonna get his butt kicked by the Pistons. But remember so did Michael ;) Anyway I don't see the need to hate on Lebron. Yes he gets favoritism in calls and is overexposed to the media, but he is also a damn good 3rd year player. His statistical acheivements are undeniable. There will never be another Jordan, but Lebron is the closest thing we will get to Magic/Jordan/Dr.J in our era, I'm quite sure of it. He's just getting his first taste of the playoffs.

Kobe never raped anyone either....

As for LeBron, he is the man. Im not comparing him to Jordan yet but he is THE MAN right now.

I just noticed something Azale. We picked the exact same playoff bracket. Great minds think alike :mischief:

I never did figure it out, are you a Dallas Mavericks, Spurs or Houston Rockets fan?

Spurs all the way baby, thier the only professional sports team within driving distance (about 3 hours :p) of where I live!

Man you've been lucky with a successful team lately. I gotta to be honest though, I hope somebody beats the Spurs. God, anybody but the Spurs this year. Though I have the same feelings for Detroit too. If I see another Detroit/Spurs final, I'm gonna freak. ;)

But he still can't play defense.

He is 21, give him time to get his defensive game. He already can dominate offensively...

And a Spurs/Pistons match up is the best basketball, although my preferred series is Spurs/Heat ;) Spurs/Nets would be a repeat as well.

Speaking of the Nets and Heat...Nets currently destroying the Heat.

Couldn't agree more!

Though I'm from a bit further away... :)

But I was in SA last june, during the NBA finals. I had a great time watching the first 2 games in a bar on the Riverwalk together with a group of Spurs fans!

Yea, the first two games...where it looked like SA would dominate Detroit. I didnt jump to conclusions though, I am very pessimistic about my favorite teams :p

Phoenix beats LAC 130-123...and of course, being the early sleeper I am, I didnt see it. Sounds like a crazy series in the making.

"I never did figure it out, are you a Dallas Mavericks, Spurs or Houston Rockets fan?"

Texans on the whole are generally pleased/happy if any Texas team wins the championship, and elated when it happens to be their "home team." This qualifies for football (Cowboys, Texans) and baseball (Astros, Rangers) as well.

Ive found thats true, but I would be 100x happier if the Cowboys won the SB than if the Texans did :p

I'm going to the Mavs-Spurs game tonight..

Mavs in 6!!! :p

Don't worry... Texans have a long way to go ;).

I live in Phoenix and root for the suns. Im curious about what other team's fans think of them. Are we just an annoying little team who happens to have the MVP?

It was excellent watching Game 5, well the last few minutes of the game, because tha is all I saw. The game tying three as the end of the 1st OT was amazing to watch. I do hope the Susn go on and continue to do great in the serie.

I think the Suns have no shot against either the Spurs, Mavs, or Pistons. They need to pray for a major injury to one of the western conference teams and then pray some more for another Cavs win.

But thats just my personal opinion.

This Cavaliers-Pistons series is turning out to be pretty amazing. Come on Cleveland...one more game...

Yeah, the Pistons need to pull their heads out of their
recta.
