2006 NBA Playoffs

Man Boris Diaw was shredding Dallas up inside. Even the Announcers said he was playing like Amare last year against the Spurs. That was pretty crazy. I still think Dallas is going to catch the Suns in the grind of the Series, game 4, 5 and 6. Dallas is deep. However have to see how serious the injuries to Raja Bell and Josh Howard are too.

ESPN is reporting that Bell is definitely out for Game 2.

I think the Heat will win this series. They'll win games 4 and 6, but Detroit will manage to hold on for game 5.

In the West, I think it will go to a game 7, with Phoenix winning.

I hate ESPN over here in Australia. All we are getting is the Eastern Conference Fianls and not the Western Conference finals which my team Phoenix a playing in. I am really off at that.

ESPN only has the rights to the Eastern Conference Finals...TNT is the channel that has the Western Conference Finals, look and see if you have it.

Miami is looking more and more like they're gonna take Detroit. The Wallaces stink at freethrow shooting. I will be very, very surprised though if Phoenix beats Dallas. I think Dallas will catch them in the grind of the series.

Dallas is too focused right now.. you can see that championship hunger in their eyes.

Dallas in 5 against Phoenix..

I think the final will be Dallas-Miami.. and it would be tough to play against Wade and Shaq.

The thing is, this is ESPN International and I have seen plenty of Games where the main broadcaster is TNT, so I do not know why this should be an issue right now.

Also, I would not count out the Suns right now because they have been in similar positions like this throughout the playoffs, but this is the business end of the season and we will see if the Suns can come back.

The Suns are pretty much out of this series, barring a freak injury to Dirk or something like that. Dallas is probably the best team in the NBA right now. The Lakers were weak, the Clippers dumb, but Dallas is a completely different level of competition. They would be the favourites over Miami or Detroit at this point in the finals, IMO.

Also, I would not count out the Suns right now because they have been in similar positions like this throughout the playoffs, but this is the business end of the season and we will see if the Suns can come back.

To what jonatas said I would add that I think Phoenix
won't win simply because they will run out of gas; their
bench is *much* thinner than Dallas', and they have
already played 2 7 game series. IMHO they would have
lost the Clippers series if there had only been 1 rest day
between games 6 and 7.

Dallas is going for the knock-out punch tonight, Phoenix is fighting for its life. Honestly I'd like to see Phoenix win the series, but I don't see that happening.

I like Phoenix, too, because of their scrappiness. But
for reasons previously state, I don't think scrappiness
will be enough this time.

I won't be shocked if they do), they aren't going to go

yea most teams seem to play phoenix wrong....they should lose on paper against the clipper and mavs and somehow beat the clips and are tied wit hmavs

man i just want them to lose

I will be shocked if Phoenix beats Dallas in this series. If they do that, they deserve to get the championship. I'll tell you one thing, Phoenix would love to play Miami....

Yes, Miami doesn't match up well against either Phoenix or Dallas.
