JoanK... cool? surely you mean shadowplay, at least that statement isn't objectively wrong when its in reference to him :p

At least I'm cooler than you. :p

That's a given. ;)

500% more mainstream, if anything. :p

You guys probably know who I voted for.

I'd like to ask though, why the crap are the Republican Moderates still around? Were we truly unable to make any sort of deal with them?

Is it even possible now? I mean the poll is already up.

The best you could really do is tell everyone to stop voting for you. But you've already get five votes that Jehoshua's campaign cannot regain.

At least I'm cooler than you. :p

The difference is, I don't pretend that I am cool, or that I actually want to be cool. ;)

Oh and Dommy, you don't know what my message to the moderati was about, so your not really entitled to comment with any good standing on it. What you are entitled to do of course is remind people to vote. :p

Dang First Past the Post system! if we had only one right winged candidate then we (Conservative Party) would be wining the election!

@west india man

I see no difference between how we are voting now and the First Past the Post, unless we get to vote again after initial rounds and the losing parties were dropped.

Well currently its just voting on your favourite party, its not really first past the post since there is no actual set in stone means of determining who actually wins the election save in the exceedingly unlikely instance that one party gains over 50% of the vote. It just depends on how we discern what happens once the vote is over :p

Ok I think I get it. :p

I think based on precedent from last year the person with the most wins even if they have less than 50% total.
That is correct. That said, I can see it being changed in the future.

Forgive me... where is Downturn? I am aware that there is a applying thing but how can there be a election without the party of the last victor? Just considerations for challange...

BTW I have been quite busy with uni and IOT. Hence apoligies for not being present polically...
