2020 US Election (Part One)

To be fair he's not the source here, there are anonymous sources saying he's claimed Bernie would be hard to beat. Which is consistent with Trump's disinterest in attacking Bernie and some of the other things he's said. Although even if Trump believes Bernie is the strongest candidate doesn't actually make it true. Donald Trump also thinks there's a Crowdstrike server in Kiev with emails that show Ukraine interfered in the 2016 US election.

Turnout in Iowa was bad, really bad. If it keeps going like this none of the candidates are going to be able to blow out Trump, it's going to come down to a few votes in swing states.
he has not bothered to attack Burnie directly but he has never stopped attacking AOC and the Squad who have all lined up with Burnie

I said it before and I'll say it again, no one gives a damn about the primaries because they have already decided to vote Dem no matter who gets nominated.

I can't remember who but didn't someone in this thread say they would vote for micky mouse if they were Democrat

I am nearly 100% certain that if the party labels were reversed here you would be chiding the Democrats for being "childish" and forfeiting the moral high ground against Trump.

If the labels were reversed what would you be doing, complaining or laughing?

To not vote for the Democratic nominee in 2020 is to be a Republican.

To not vote for Trump is to be a Democrat. Smells like desperation.

Why do you always present Gabbard as if she was some sort of 'anti-war' candidate? She has stated multiple times she is only against 'regime-change wars' and fully supports drone strikes, missile strikes, and special ops teams to fight 'terrorists'.

The reason we're fighting terrorists is because of the interventionist wars she opposes. Chicken, egg...

Trump burned largely every possible bridge to the Democratic party.

The Democrats were spying on him before he got elected and they've been wanting to impeach him from day 1

It's two things, neither of which is desperation. First, it reflects that this election is an important one now that we know just what kind of president Trump has been and will continue to be. Any vote that is not for the Dem nominee or even a non vote is a support for the current status quo which is the Republicans under Trump in charge. Second, it is a statement that internal democratic squabbles of potential policies is pointless if Trump is re-elected. All the rest will take care of itself if Trump goes.

It is a statement of focus. Focus on the goal: flush the turd November third.

Big ask for GoP and never Trumpers.

You should never be guilted to into voting. Not voting for Trump is about the best you can expect.

It still hurts his re-election chances.

Not many believe this. But feel free to vote for Bern, assuming you actually will go vote :)
I will vote which ever democrat is nominated. I held my nose and voted for Hillary in 2016. Biden and Bernie are both well past their due dates, but would get my vote. ATM I like Yang and Klobuchar.

I'm not asking for people to vote, just showing them the reality of their choices. I have no expectations beyond my own vote. Of course you should be guilted into voting. Voting is important and to not do so is terrible. I think we should also reward folks for voting.

I've voted every election except once. That year was a landslide.

Sometimes it's a choice between douche canoe and poo sandwich.

If disillusioned Trump supporters don't vote it still depresses his turnout.

Trying to guilt people into voting is just Abad idea. It's like marketing the latest woke Hollywood movie. Birds of Prey will likely be the next example.

It's a terrible strategy. For a lot of people it doesn't matter who's in power. It makes no difference in their day to day lives.

Buttigieg gave 42k to the app maker Shadow, Inc. And his senior advisor is married to a bigshot at Shadow and the organization was involved with the 2016 Clinton campaign. This is not looking good.

Not really his end result is close to what he was polling at.

Mayor Buttiplug? Last “reliable” poll (A- on 538) was Emerson feb 1st where Ratface polled 15% and Bernie 28%. Edit: There would have been another poll closer to the event but it was recalled at the last minute by request of – you guessed it - the pride of South Bend, the man who a grand total of 11k people ever voted into any office.

Iowa’s now become an unnecessary spectacle that only serves Trump, or a party saviour – I wonder who’s in the wing? It’s so mysterious.

Tom Perez is trying to pose like a credible authority. He is the one who was going to “put a fork” in Bernies Latino vote to help Hillary just before he became head of the DNC (thanks wikileaks). The DNC that gave Hillary veto on press releases and did everything in their dirty powers to rig the primaries last time against Sanders.

It’s good to see the right-wing of the forum out defending gay rights. It shows how much the democrats got all those years trading worker rights and never-ending tax cuts for it.
