ummmm takhiziz… remindz me of that deliciouz white zauce that goes on Greek food like falafel and gyro :yumyum:
Takis is a Greek name.

Mercers & other mega-doners are abandoning Trump, fearing another four years of him will result in a radical left backlash. Thus they want a centrist Democrat elected now.

I hope this backfires. Centrists democrats: "vote for me, I have the support of the plutocrats!"

I hope it throws his reelection bid into dissaray. I don't care if this props up centrist Democrats
I do, but there's priorities.

E.g. stopping this kind of nonsense.

I mean, yeah, I'm just saying I hope this information hurts the centrist Democrats in the Democratic primary as an added bonus to throwing his reelection bid into disarray (which I doubt will happen but...)

Made me curious, for it is delicious.

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 English cucumber peeled.
  2. 16 oz 2 cups Cold plain Greek yogurt (either full fat or fat free will work)
  3. 4 cloves garlic pressed.
  4. 1/3 cup chopped dill fresh or frozen.
  5. 1 1/2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice Juice of 1/2 lemon; please squeeze a real lemon.
  6. 1/2 tsp salt or to taste.
  7. 1/8 tsp black pepper
  8. You're welcome. :hatsoff:

I love Tzaziki :)
One of my favorite cold starter salat is Pikilia, which is everywhere a bit different, but includes as thick sauces Tzaziki, Melitzanosalata (Aubergine salade), Taramosalata (mousse fish eggs)

16 oz 2 cups Cold plain Greek yogurt (either full fat or fat free will work)

Real Greek yoghurt is 10% fat !
(Raw milk 3.5-5.0% fat)
And fat is a taste amplifier :)

Mixing yogurt with cucumber isn't a good idea, imo. Foreigners seem to like it - cause they iz weird.

Perhaps you do not love yoghurt at all :undecide:

My other Greek yoghurt favorite is thick greek yoghurt with walnuts and honey.
And a not really Greekish recipe of Greek yoghurt mixed with water and a bit salt as drink.
Bread and olive oil and ofc salt, pepper.
Thin sliced raw onions and olive oil.
Olives.

But perhaps you Greeks eat different dishes, and this is only for foreigners ;)

I don't like yogurt much, but "tzatziki" is just awful, imo. Apparently it is far more popular in Athens than here.
I like black olives :)

I love black olives as well... most of all the more bitter Kalamata olives.
Q. I saw there are also dried black olives. Are those tasty ?

Depends on the brand, I suppose. The ones in english supermarkets were inedible. Really disgusting :/

Getting decent olives is expensive here.
Did you try those rubbery black olives bottled in brine that a lot of UK supermarkets sell? Possibly the worst thing to eat that you are actually meant to eat.

It would kinda suck for someone who just finished paying off their student loans. Basically punishing them for being responsible.

Better to just give everyone $1,000/mo.
We should write off loans and pay those who paid their's.
