Summary please I'm not listening to him, I get the point I think jsut from the image. Imagine pretending to be progressive and supporting Trump as the better alternative.
Even then I'm not 100% convinced the supreme court will rubber stamp anything he does with Kennedy and Gorsuch.

When you just make a snap judgement w/o even hearing someone's views you can imagine them saying whatever you wantImagine pretending to be progressive and supporting Trump as the better alternative.
I listened to the first few minutes. He's complaining about the Democrats not keeping all their promises or living up to all the progressive goals. Apparently fracking is all Obama's fault. Both sides are bad. Ok, got the gist.Summary please I'm not listening to him, I get the point I think jsut from the image. Wow, thanks for that insightful comment into American politics.Democrats have f-ed up their credibility
I mean, when the only person routinely linking Jimmy Dore clips is Berzerker, whose political beliefs are idiosyncratic to put it diplomatically, I think we can be forgiven for assuming things about the pundit when no summary or timestamps are provided. When you just make a snap judgement w/o even hearing someone's views you can imagine them saying whatever you want

Thought I'd take one for the team for you there since I was settling down for bed...Oh jeez. Jimmy Dore. Glad I didn't bother.
USS America is proudly, verbosely and slowly scooping racism and gay rights abuses overboard while doing absolutely nothing to plug the huge wealth and democracy inequality leak in the hull. Generating more and more extremists to proudly scoop.
Both the Democratic Party of the United States AND the Republican Party of the United States have utterly and completely screwed and blatantly lost all credibility. And the reason is obvious. They've LONG overstayed their dominance in office, but the system is so stacked that no political alternative can even POSSIBLY complete with them - the rigging is just so solid and corrupt. This phenomenon can be seen in many places elsewhere, even excluding outright one-party states, where all other political parties (except sometimes sycophantical "yesman," parties in a forced satellite coalition) are illegal. Emerging democracies in many post-Cold War African and Asian nation, post-Soviet Party of Power systems, Mexico under the PRI from 1929 to 2000, Liberia under the True Whig Party from sometime in the late 1800's to 1980, South Africa under the National Party (albeit with MASSIVE voter suppression on racial grounds) from 1948 to 1994, and then under the ANC from 1994, and now Hungary seems well set up for it under Fidesz since 2006. These are all other clear, textbook examples of the same problem. When you're a pro athlete who has used bribery, graft, and nepotistic calling of favours to get into the Special Olympics, why would even put in an effort?
This is true and it also plays into Trump's appeal (and for far left democrats like Bernie Sanders but to a lesser extent). The solution is basically to hijack a party to create change and then stain established candidates as just that, "established" or the same old. It also goes the US political system of first past the post.
That cunning scheme, however, rests upon the assumption that Trump is actually a "reformer," and not a "deteriorator," as a President. Of course, the only alternative the rigged, corrupt, and stacked system ALLOWS is an Establishment drone to bring the U.S. firmly back to business as usual - FAILING as usual, that is.
This is why I dont think the military is going to step in over the election as people keep suggesting. That is the correct answer though. The military isn't supposed to play politics. The Constitution is very clear in establishing the president as the head of the military and doesn't say anything about the military getting to pick and choose which presidents they want to take orders from.
See above. The president cannot, by definition, be a domestic enemy unless they are removed from office by Congress or have reached the end if their term and refuses to leave office. The military on its own has no authority to decide who is or is not a domestic enemy.
Jimmy Dore is by his own words a simple comedian turned political commentator because “anyone can do it better and less corruptly than Hannity, Maddow, Carlson or Hayes”. I agree he is better than all of them. At least he speaks his own mind and goes off script doing his punditry. Sure, it is overblown on some issues and understated on others, but it is his YouTube show and he does not ever claim to be objective or fair and balanced. It is a good mix of pointing out the blatant hypocrisy and thinly veiled lies of the Dems with the outright lies and quite (dark) comical levels of madness in the Republican party.
The poor perception of Jimmy Dore here is because of the milquetoast and vapid “Get behind Biden to take out Trump”-clique is so numerous and dominant on CFCOT. They have many posts and internal creds amounting to sum all uselessness outside of this padded echo chamber. So why not milk it where it counts, I guess.
What Jimmy and progressives see is that the political options are both so bad that either way the election goes things will continue to sour at about the same pace for 80% of Americans. It is what Patine keeps bringing up and get regularly dogpiled for in this very thread.
The Democratic Party has picked up Ronald Reagans mantle of neoliberalism but market itself as the only viable alternative to the “left” of the other party. The lesser evil if you will, but for forementioned 80% it is still evil degeneration. Anyway, that is a false assumption based on American references that confuse (neo)liberal ideology and the progressive left. The only overlap between Liberals and Left is on social identity issues and those are the ones being pushed to the absolute exclusion of the wider fundamental issues driving America into the gutter. USS America is proudly, verbosely and slowly scooping racism and gay rights abuses overboard while doing absolutely nothing to plug the huge wealth and democracy inequality leak in the hull. Generating more and more extremists to proudly scoop.
When Jimmy points this out for the thousand time the vapid and milquetoast crowd finally have enough and sternly call it out to be “not serious”. It is simple comedy with good point well made. Sorry that hurts your political game of good side, bad side.
I don't watch any of that garbage either, and while I agree with Patine about the state of US political parties and politics in general, his tone and condescension is annoying. The idea that the perception of Dore here is because of the "milquetoast and vapid" members here is not a very aware take of the forum. Biden is not a popular choice here at all and only becomes so when running against a man whose entire platform has been chaos and destruction. This is something that is pointed out to Patine all the time as well, but don't let that stop you from feeling good attacking others.
Pretty sure everyone here is well aware of the inequality problem being the number one problem in the US. Even the right wingers here pay lip service to it.
