Whats that saying about pointing fingers at others all the time? Patine is so busy pointing at all of us all the time he forgets he always has four fingers pointing at himself. (thanks mom, I finally used it on someone)

Another "pot-calling-the-kettle-black," self-righteous, hypocritical, high-horse retort from @Estebonrober.

I'm not but it makes the court a complete joke.

Trump stole 1 judge but with Senate plus presidency he's allowed to do 2.

You yourself said there's consequences the left has to learn if they stay at home.

There's consequences the Republicans have to learn if they suborn democracy to their pathologies. Time to treat them like germs, frankly.

LOL...nope. Guess again.

The Wisconsin Elections Commission had split 3–3 along partisan lines on the matter of denying ballot access to the Green Party because of a technicality — two different addresses were given for the party’s vice presidential nominee, who moved during the pandemic.

https://www.nationalreview.com/corn...-ballot-access-in-pennsylvania-and-wisconsin/

Democrats didn't want the Greens on the ballot, no guessing required

Of course the truth doesn't fit Berzerker's "evil Democrat" narrative as parroted from whatever right wing nonsense source he picked this one up from.

Jimmy Dore and Krystal Ball are progressives

the left.

Why do Americans use this term in politics with sincerity? Who are they referring to? The Green Party of the United States? The Pirate Party USA? The Party of Socialism and Equality? The Peace and Justice Party? Bernie Sanders' Senate label of "Independent Socialist?" They must be. Because the two main parties, who always win (because the system's rigged) are the Republican Party of the United States, who are hard-right, and the Democratic Party of the United States, who are Centrist to Centre-Right. No major left-wing party there.

The pretense that the GOP will constrain their behavior if the Democrats do is clearly obsolete.

Anyone who believes they care about hypocrisy, norm breaking, or looking bad, is either a witless mark or an outright accomplice. They don't care as long as they get power.

Your feelings cloud your judgement. That event WAS more in line with the calibre of complaining all of you always do in it's impact. NOTHING in 2020 has been, except arguably the COVID-19 outbreak, but I find it highly and disgustingly disingenuous and lowly that people all over the world are more concerned with using it as ammunition for socio-political blame games than working together to overcome it globally. But no one here, but me, is complaining about that last bit, and certainly not acknowledging it's utter vile and warped nature as a common sentiment.
But was it? Alaric storming Rome was because the Roman system was able to keep him out of Imperial political structure. Shortly afterwards Alaric died and the Goths were hounded out of Italy into Gaul and became a client kingdom.
How about Aetius bringing the Huns into the Roman system by using them as mercenaries to fight the Goths? EA Thompson made the argument that Aetius bringing the Huns into the Roman political sphere at the highest level lead to Attila's invasions of the Roman Empire to press his claim, however dubious, on the Imperial throne by marriage.

What turned you into the All-Seeing Nostradamus that can determine if an event is of sufficient caliber to warrant concern over?

Poor Bill and Hillary Clinton. You put them in with a bad crowd, @Arwon.

Is that meant to be some "you're wrong" gotcha? The establishment US Democrats' most distinguishing characteristic is being marks and accomplices for GOP malfeasance.

For most rational people with a grasp of the flow of discussion, they realize there's a certain point when beating an inane segwe like a dead horse not only has no value anymore, but should be a bit embarrassing. Obviously, you are NOT one of the people so mentioned.

Not at all. It's obvious the "bad crowd," would be a statistical majority of Republicans, but also have a quite large number of Democrats, at least as applied to the American political context, and not 1930's German Nazis or 1920's Russian Bolsheviks, for example. I'm anti-Duopoly, remember, and not remotely even close to a Republican apologist - or had you been paying attention?

Lol ad on Facebook of Biden doing bicep curls while on the phone, bro you're elderly give it a rest. All this macho posturing is so wack, give me a Jimmy Carter over either of these jackasses.

@Narz not sure if that is a side burn on Jimmy Carter.

Carter is an exceptional human being and was a truly dreadful President.

J

Maybe instead of thinking of him as a dreadful president, think of it as a dreadful nation. After all if an exceptional human being, as you put it, sucks as the president of that nation what does that say about the nation?

You cannot make that case because of the years that followed. After we weathered the recession, competent leadership set the economy going for over 15 years.

Going into absolute disaster, sure. Taking on massive debt for no purpose other than expanding the gap between the richest and the rest and leaving a legacy that has yet to be dealt with. Great job "competent leadership."

Shill it to the idiots J.

Not every exceptional human being is well-suited or cut out for political leadership. In fact, political leadership, by it's very nature, especially in the modern period, requires a great compromising and diminishing of one's integrity, ethics, honesty, respectability, and even very humanity, unavoidability. I, myself, never want the mantle of political leadership. Unlike many, I have no illusions about the corrupting influence of such power, and my own lack immunity or being an exception. Many well-meaning people accept such positions believing they won't succumb, or be forced to, to the dark side of political leadership.

It must have been sad for RBG when she saw death coming just before the finish.
May peace be with her.
