Is this what polls show? At least if Biden collapses in the midterms, he may have some incentive to try to work for a peace agreement in Ukraine, due to projected loss of a mandate (not that he was elected to play the current role in Ukraine in the first place).Welp it would seem we will see revival of Trumpism in 2023... and possibly 2nd term of Trump in 2024...
Yoon bug and Trump in 2024. .
What a hell.
Not gonna happen. Even mitch mcconnell wants war to continue. At least if Biden collapses in the midterms, he may have some incentive to try to work for a peace agreement in Ukraine, due to projected loss of a mandate (not that he was elected to play the current role in Ukraine in the first place).
That turtle should at least pretend that he is expressing the voting public ^_^Not gonna happen. Even mitch mcconnell wants war to continue.
Whatever he is leader of republican party. Either way most Americans want wars to continue. Especially when Russia is clearly losing. That turtle should at least pretend that he is expressing the voting public ^_^
It's because MAD isn't a thing anymore. It always was "the other side will realize MAD is a thing, so it won't be - we don't need to be cautious at all".Whatever he is leader of republican party. Either way most Americans want wars to continue. Especially when Russia is clearly losing.
Russia has been barking about nuclear since September. Now we are in November... where is nuke? Russia is playing N. Korea. It's because MAD isn't a thing anymore. It always was "the other side will realize MAD is a thing, so it won't be - we don't need to be cautious at all".
Not sure why China hasn't annexed Taiwan yet tbh, not even many in the US would think it's a good idea to be at proxy or open war with both other major nuclear powers.
Just saying that this didn't use to be how MAD was respected. It's not a "I dare you" issue.Russia has been barking about nuclear since September. Now we are in November... where is nuke? Russia is playing N. Korea.
Citing a need for election security, Republicans in October sued to stop undated ballots from being counted.
They also want to reject votes who's signatures are not 100% identical to the sigs on the registration form when viewed under a microscope.Love to see the party of small government and individual rights stripping people of the vote because they didn't do all the government red tape properly
Who is this guy and why would i give a * what he has to say?Jordan Klepper fingers the Midterms
He is Jordan Klepper and I don't care if you give a *.Who is this guy and why would i give a * what he has to say?
That is what Reagan/Bush Republicans believe. MAGA Republicans are very different.
I recall at least one Republican politician complaining the "media" was far too focused on the war in Ukraine--and this was a few weeks after the initial invasion. And it's obvious that Trump admires Putin. I don't think it's an overstatement to say that Trump wants Putin to win this war.
If you don't live in the US, it's hard to explain just how much of a cult of personality has taken over much of the GOP. MAGA Republicans' stance basically comes down to this: If Trump supports it/likes it, then so do I. It explains why so many Americans think the 2020 election was "rigged", despite there being no evidence of any widespread voter fraud.
Personally, I think financial/military support for Ukraine will start to decline dramatically in January if Republicans take over both houses of congress.
I guess this isn't the thread, but indifferent to Putin winning is not the same thing as wanting him to win. Are there any Trump statements that distinguish between these two things?
He doesn't say much. He gets other people to talk. You should care about what they say. You don't, I know. But you should.Who is this guy and why would i give a * what he has to say?
