Having a tough time getting through this update. Will continue work tomorrow, no orders are being taken now. Hopefully it'll be done by early afternoon tomorrow.

Germany, after discussing the issue with fellow alliance members, would like to state that a name change for the North Sea Alliance is pending. The name on the table is the European Alliance of Nations (EAN). The purpose of the name change is to try and show that the alliance is based around European cooperation and friendship, not German dominance, which many people have thought the alliance to be...which is completely false.
Continuing on the topic about "German dominance" over the alliance, and Europe...we wish to dispel this misconception. So, we hereby declare that we will ensure the soverignty of the Danish Empire, the Empire of the Netherlands, England, Hungary, and the Swedish Empire. Hopefully this will put the rest the preposterous thought that Germany wishes to absorb his neighbors.
Also, in order to show the alliance that the NSA (hopefully the future EAN) is about European cooperation, further displays and changes are being brainstormed by German, Swedish, and Danish advisers.

We are glad that the German Empire has made it clear that this alliance is not an attempt of them to ensure German dominance over our country and those of the other members of the current North Sea Alliance, and the fact that they are willing to ensure our sovereignity is just the icing on the cake, so to speak, and it is something that we will present to our Folketing so that the opposition to the permanence in the Alliance is shut up.
We are also glad that the proposition for the new name of the NSA (European Alliance of Nations) came from our delegates. It was proposed to make clear that the Alliance shouldn't be restricted to those having shores in the North Sea (indeed, Hungary doesn't even have a coast) and that it is a group of several independent nations. This is the reason why we wish for this change, and our best politicians will work aside Dutch, English, German, Magyar and Swedish diplomats to ensure that the future European Alliance of Nations will only become stronger as time goes on.

Beginning resumption of the update, it's a big one, we have a big event taking place which is liable to make a lot of people rather upset. With that comes a lot of smaller events, also which will make some people unhappy. Fun times.

Big Event? I see the following as possibilities:
- Total Collapse of the economic system (Crash of '29 again!)
- French Civil War expanding into neighbouring countries (bad for France's neighbours (OH, NO! MY COLONIES ARE NEXT TO FRANCE'S!!))
- Rebellion of every colonial territory (this would be really bad for the Great Powers)
- Super-über-mega-World-War (not this one!!)

You sha'nt fool us. This is purely a cosmetic change - anyone would truly need to be the shining example of naivete to honestly believe you imperialist scum care an ounce about "Europe." You are Germanocentric through and through, and your filthy tentacles which have strangled our nation and were thwarted by the honorable Celts are your Danish and English puppets. You may attempt to save face, but as for the East and the West and the South of Europe, well, we won't be so convinced.
