A Brave New World Part 2

From: Danish Empire
To: East Atlantic Customs Union

We urge you to drop these insanely high tariffs you are imposing on European products that enter your borders. It's behaviour like this that only exacerbates the problems of the Depression in the world, as countries find themselves without other markets to trade with.

OOC: Great update.

IC: To: Columbia, Ecuador, Peru
From: The Union of Mexico
CC: The International Socialist Cooperative Group, New England, Chile

The Union of Mexico supports Ecuador in her defense against the Imperial armies of Peru and Columbia. The people of Mexico will not accept the injustices being performed against the fair and free people of Ecuador.

Peru and Columbia will withdraw from Ecuador or they will be forced to withdraw. While we do not desire war we cannot allow our friends and allies to be bullied by greedy opportunistic Empires.

To: The United Provinces of Central America
From: The Union of Mexico

The Union of Mexico congradulates your nation on its moves towards Socialism. We look forward to cooperating with your nation and hope to aid your people in these troubling times.

TO: Klannist Tennesee
FROM: Georgia

We offer to you a trade agreement that will allow easier shift in trade goods between our two nations. Our ideologies must stick together in this depression.

To: Georgia
From: Tennessee

We are interested in such an agreement. We also would ask that as we end the menace that is the People's Republic of Tennessee, you could assist in preventing arms smuggling through Georgia and provide a wall against escape by criminal negros.

From Republic of Italy
To Lisist France

We recognize you as the legitimate government of France and will attend this anti-communism discussion. Italy is unsure if she will join, but we will attend and decide after.

We will move soldiers to the area to lower the border crossings, they have caused us just as much trouble as you can imagine.

To New England
From SUSA

The Socialist Union is not interested in fighting a war with Peru, New England, or any other nation. As you are well aware, despite the rhetoric heard around the world, Socialism is yet to be responsible for a single aggressive war. We hope that you will be able to persuade Peru to end its needless and pointless attack on Ecuador and to negotiate with Ecuador regarding whatever issues you have with them.

To Colombia, Chile
From SUSA

The Socialist Union once again requests an immediate cease fire and a withdrawal of Colombian troops from Ecuador. We are not interested in a war against either Chile or Colombia but we will prosecute such a war in defense of Ecuador should the need arise.

From: The German Empire
To: Lisist France
CC: The World

We recognize the Lisist government as the new, legitimate government of the nation of France. Hopefully this regime change will usher in more positive Franco-German relations.

Also, regarding the Anti-Communist Commission, Germany will stand by its stance of being strongly against illegal, violent socialism. However, we will attend the talks and put in our two cents. We encourage all members that attended the Cologne Summit to attend the Anti-Communist Commission (Gulf Alliance & South American Defense League). Heck, we will even be willing to have the talks take place in Cologne, as they were several years ago, if France is willing.

From: The German Empire
To: SUSA

Any move against of Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, or the Buenos Aires Protectorate (and of course Deutsche Amazonien) will be considered an act of war against the German Empire. We will protect our friends and allies.

From: The German Empire
To: Chile

We urge you to reconsider Colombia's joining of the SADL. Their actions against Ecuador, and SUSA's subsequent declaration of war, will only drag you into a particularly large conflict...which isn't very good.

From: The German Empire
To: The East Atlantic Customs Union/New England/UNSA
CC: World

Nice job guys! You have successfully proved that you wish to polarize the world again. First it was New England's repeal of a NAP after the German naval buildup, then the creation of the UNSA...and now this. Your true colors have been shown.

From SUSA
To Germany

The only goal of the Socialist Union is protection of Ecuador. Should it come to war we will not take any aggressive actions against Chile, Paraguay, or Buenos Aires as long as we are not attacked. Even further, should aggressive actions be necessary we will not seek a change of government or territory in any of these countries. Our sole goal is defense of Ecuador and we hope that Germany can press Chile and other German allies to stop their support for this war of aggression.

We are pleased to see that the German Empire is interested in attending these discussions. However, we think that in the spirit of multipartisanship, the young and newly unified Republic of Italy should have the honor to host the talks. This way any interpretation of powermongering can be handily dispelled.

As to the purpose of the meeting, it is quite simple. We must discuss real, efficient methods to stop the spread of Communism, including but not limited to international efforts to stamp out violent socialist movements and to guard the frontier against the spread of communism. Since France, bound as she is by the Treaty of Rome, cannot act in North America, it is of utmost importance that the Americans attend this conference, or else surrender themselves to communism immediately.

As for presently existing and self-proclaimed "legitimate" socialist movements, necessary, decent action is required to break their false system and usher in a more stable government. We of course point to Belgium and their so-called "elected" Socialist government, which has sought to destroy the Empire of France by supporting the communist pretenders of Calais. Embargos, sanctions, and military interventions are all acceptable forms of instituting regime change.

However, we are not barbarians. Hence, the conference. We must distill our righteous defense and organize it before Calais happens to all of the nation-states of the world. One isolated rebellion isn't much to speak of; much less two. But when the formerly great Mexico falls, and the mighty French brought to their knees, the threat is apparent and real. Our Calais may be Germany's Munich, Italy's Firenze, Russia's Moscow, New England's Albany, Virginia's Columbus. Give it time. Communism is a virus, and like smallpox, we must quarantine it, study it, and then thoroughly and absolutely eradicate it. That is the purpose of the ACC.

If invited the Republic of Texas would like to send a representative to the conference. As for the rest of the Gulf Alliance we would like to point out the strain the economic downturn has put on all of us should they be unable to turn away their focus from our own internal problems I would hope the Commission understands.

From: Denmark
To: Lisist France, Germany, Italy

Denmark recognises the government of Lisist France as the legitimate one in France. We will also join the Anti-Communist Conference in hopes that the farce that Communism represents is stamped out of history: they shield themselves behind the pretence of being "the government of the people", but when the time of trials comes, they act much like those "tyrants of Capitalist and Imperialist Nations" they say they fight.

TO: Gulf Alliance, European Nations, all others concerned
FROM: Georgia
CC: Economic Depression

The nation of Georgia has, since the beginning of the century, been in a deep depression. Something that now your own nations are experiencing with the decline of the German stock market and subsequent economic blunders. As known by the leaders of the worlds top economies, Georgia is one of the few nations to slide by with little domestic economic damage. With formation of the UNSA and it's customs union, your nations cannot buy goods at reasonable prices and must find new sources. The Georgian government offers an extension of trade agreements with the European countries and the Gulf alliance, to trade with Georgia at lower tariff rates than most world economies. We offer automobiles, textiles, coal and agricultural goods.

We seek trade agreements with the following nations:

Germany
Sweden
Russia
Lisist France
Texas
Italy
Belgium
Florida
Celtic Union
Portugal

Germany strongly STRONGLY decline this offer. Germany has no need for a Georgian middleman to trade with our friends in Texas and the rest of the Gulf Alliance. The European Alliance of Nations (EQ, can this be fixed...the NSA is no more) has no need of your "services" and is strongly encouraged to turn down your "generous" offer.

From Republic of Italy
To World

Italy is more than willing to host the ACC meeting. We would propose Milan as a suitable location.

Italy would also like to allow the invitation to nations who are concerned with the growing blight of Communism.

We suggest that the South American non-Communist nations are also invited to the ACC, as they are the most affected by the Communist blight at this moment.

To: Those concerned about Ecuador
From: Colombia and Peru

We are acting upon the permission of the Republic of New England, protector of Ecuador to restore a proper government to the region and to disperse the rabble currently in charge. As Ecuador is a protectorate of that empire, it is entirely their call of the managment and fate of that country.

I'm not talking about being a middle man, I'm talking about opening Georgian goods to the world market at lower tariff rates.
