To the Philippines, Pancasila, the Bugis Republic:
The government of Borneo extends formal greetings to our neighboring states. It is manifestly clear that unless we find some arrangement for collective action, we will be unable to assert our own interests in the international sphere.
The Foreign Minister of Borneo thus invites his counterparts in the Philippines, Pancasila, and the Bugis Republic to discuss the following topics:
* the elimination of trade barriers between our four states and the formation of a common market
* non-aggression agreements and the potential for a mutual-defense arrangement

@Chiefdesigner: You should really know that Borneo is a buddy of China and maybe they don't want you doing this stuff. Especially not with radical Muslim regimes.

Also, what happened to regional powers? It seems odd that Virginia or Florida, with 8 times the economic size and with a large military, couldn't try to influence Kentucky (not that we'd let them).
I honestly don't see why you can't extend the rule of buying influence to everyone. For a nation like Kentucky getting 1% of another nations influence would expend nearly an entire year's economy so it'd be pointless, but Virginia or Florida could handle it.

The government of Russia does not see why the backwards and barbarous Borneo is attempting to dictate world policy. Russia suggests that Borneo mind its own business.

Currently there is vast amount of trade flowing from the Black Sea to Italy and vice-versa. May we suggest that an agreement is signed to bilaterally eliminate tariffs on Italian/Russian shipping in Italian/Russian Mediterranean and Black Sea ports (even the great Constantinople)?
