I dont know if this is a RoM problem or AND, but the Fort problem is getting WAY out of hand.

Atleast they're well defended. :lol:
I think they build forts because I can't see any city close. And because no city is working on them, they build forts which has same effect as improvements. (exept the yield change)

BTW, is there somekind of face in your map?
 
Trying to start several games but getting repeatable CTD around 3000-3500BC :(((

Here's savegame. This is really frustrating having game after game crippled by CTDs :(

Also civalerts dont work properly (since 1.61), i.e. they dont warn me about trading technologies etc.

Also (think i had this since 1.55) having this sort of thing - sometimes i had CTD and after removing either BlackUI or Brick Red theme folder from afforess folder problem seemed to be solved. Error log file in BTS folder (themeparselog.txt) says following:

p.s. i also observed that sometimes after CTD savegames (even earlier) stop loading altogether - CTD when loading them, but after i reboot system they start loading again.

IIRC it's the civic(s) that give yield bonuses to forts that cause the AI to become obsessed with building them. I think some alternative bonus should be cooked up for those...
 
Got a new bug.. i keep got ctd when i tried to research mass media. I used the worldbuilder to add mass media and loaded the worldbuilder save and it ran for 1 turn before crashing again.

The weird thing is that if i use AI autoplay, the game doesn't crash, but if i play manually, the game crashes.

As long as the AI has it's city tiles developed, I dont' see a problem with that. Those tiles aren't in any cities usable tiles (that I saw), so it's connecting resources and defending land (sorta). What else would you have them build up there?

Yes its a map of "ME." :p I made that about two years ago already. You should see my "Mona Lisa", man was that fun making, but i really really like the one I did of Pamela Anderson, all i can say is "WOW.":goodjob:

Not sure if this has been reported but certain resources are not showing in the city screen. As an example I have access to shrimp and alcohol but neither of them has an icon present on the resources part of the city screen. They are there, as I hover over blank space and it pops up with the tooltip to say I have shrimp and alcohol. Just no icon showing?

Oh Version 1.61 by the way.
 
Go into the Python/EntryPoints folder and delete the CvDiplomacyInterface.py file, then reload the game.

The no AI talk that I described via a screenshot problem persists. When I instal RoM 2.81 there is the file you mentioned but after AND 1.64 it dissapears. I re-installed a clean RoM and clean AND several times but I am unable to talk to any CPU player, nor are they able to talk to me. I always get a blank screen with no dialogue options.

I've been using gurrila units too much apparently. The AI has -1 This war isn't going well for us.
Seen it in multiple OOC saves.

Seems root of my CTD's was in megaciv pack, once i reinstalled everything without it, all works fine

Using 1.64, I'm unable to add spy specialists in the city screen, even after I have buildings that should allow them.

Same here. The "Plus" sign is highlighted but no matter how much or often you click on it ..nada... no Spy Specialist.
