I've been getting a CTD everytime I try and start a custom game using the random map script generator. I tend to play huge/giant maps, but the game seems to load fine if I used a "normal" map type (e.g. fractal, continents). I attached the dump file, I hope it is helpful. although this is from the latest version, it seems to be something I can recall happening on previous versions. I apologize if this is a known bug and/or on the "to do" list. All of those involved in building this mod are awesome, and I thank you all a lot for many weeks of gameplay.
I am playing on Giant earth map on latest version, at deity and eternity. I am getting this CTD. It keeps crash at the same point.

Even with a watercooled sandy 2500k and 12gb of memory I gave up on gigantic maps. By the time I reach the early industrial period it just bogs down into mush.
However large maps with 6 civs (5 AI's) I can have a great time.
I even lost my last monarch game. Got bogged down in a war with Brenus that evolved all the way to the modern era. Bastard still manged to start his spaceship as I was struggling on mine. The the Egyptians got into a 3 way war with him and I and they started nuking each other. Damn glowing clouds started popping up near my cities.
Only to have Saladin pull off a culture swoop victory lol.

I have found a bug that might already be told but sometimes the turns just don't work. The game is waiting endlessly and the next don't come.
It happened two times in my games but i managed to workaround it by loading old saves the first time.
Now i can't go to the next turn and the game don't CTD neither.

I've tried again to load my game and it doesn't go the next turn. There's no error, no output in log files, no CTD... May do you have an idea to find the reason ?
Once i click to end my turn, the game compute some of the values for the AI (research, gold, etc. change their values) but that does nothing else. I can move on the map, enter informations screens (but not BUG options). Note that i can't zoom in or out neither. The earth cursor keep spinning indefinitly and the game show "Waiting for others civilizations".
It does not freeze nor crash to desktop and don't create any logs (no minidump).
I have a laptop with:
Processor: Intel i7-2670Q x4 2.2ghz
Dedicaded video card (used with civ 4): Nvidia optimus GeForce GT 540M with 2gb of VRAM
Integrated video car: Intel HD3000
4gb of RAM
Windows 8.1 64bits

Something I think we need to do in a future revision is differentiate the various Sanitize worker abilities. I was trying to figure out what they all meant and I had to dig into the XML and Python code to figure out what was going on. They look they are only triggered by various advanced nuclear weapons. I think this is what happens:
- BBM: Sets terrain feature of land to Infectious Smog and sets terrain type of water to Slimy Coast.
- Poison Nova: Sets terrain feature of land to Plagued Smog and sets terrain type of water to Slimy Ocean.
And then the sanitize worker actions are:
- Aquaculture: Can sanitize Slimy Coast and Slimy Ocean.
- Artificial Life: Can sanitize Plagued Smog.
- Gene Manipulation: Can sanitize Infectious Smog.
I think we should find a way to differentiate these in game text. I'm not even sure if I am completely right - someone who has actually used these weapons in gameplay may need to correct me.
As a slight off-topic, what exactly is the NLOS Cannon unit supposed to be? The pedia entry says nothing about it or what it's name stands for, and neither does C2C's. I've been curious about this unit's origins since I first played AND and yet I still don't know anything about it![]()
My mind wants to say the NL stands for Non-Linear but the OS half I can't think of anything.
