Same here. The "Plus" sign is highlighted but no matter how much or often you click on it ..nada... no Spy Specialist.

It's an interface problem, I'll fix it when the official RoM 2.9 rolls out. It's fairly easy to fix yourself, open CvMainInterface.py in the Python/Screens folder and change this line:

SPECIALIST_ROWS = 3

to

Code:
SPECIALIST_ROWS = 6

And then start your game up and it should work. ;)

Er, anyway.

I did have one other unusual bug last night. There was a 3x3 area on the map where the fog of war was unclearable. I mean, if my horseman (or other unit) was right next to it, it was still dark. If I moved INTO the area, I couldn't even see my own unit (though it still came up on it's turn in the rotation). The area was centered on the city of Nanjing, originally a Chinese city that was owned by the Americans. The Chinese had been vassals of the Americans, though I'm fairly sure the capture of Nanjing happened before the submission.

Opening world builder at the time changed nothing (I could see the city in WB, but when I closed it it was "masked" again. At some point later in the game it fixed itself. It's nothing major, but it was certainly odd.

Anyway, I have a screenshot and a save at home if you need to take a look at it, just say the word.

Hmm. Had the city ever been a capital city before? At any time in the game?
 
ROM Full 1.90 AND 1.64 AARandas Religion Mod with both Patches

Clerk Guild only gives -1 Gold in City spreaded but not the Bonus +3 :gold: and +6:science: as writen in the description. Maybe its still broken because no resources are displayed as needed.

@Kenneth, can you post your A New Dawn.log? It's in the Rise of Mankind folder.

Seems it was mega civ pack, once i reinstalled everything without it, all works smooth.
 
The bazaar gives bonus for incense, ivory, spices, tea and silk. and requiers either one of those to be able to build it. with tea mod installed you can only build it when you have either incense, spices or ivory..Is it intended to be harder to build?
 
Well, I have a couple of CTDs I really wonder about. I could not attach the log file. The attachment manager said it was an invalid file, and would not upload it. I attached the save file. I must tell however, that the XMLs are not the same as yours entirily. I have changed some traits, max values in the global defines and changed the specialists a little. None of these changes could cause the ctds though.

First CTD is before the game even starts. I always change the handicapinfos.xml to add some more goodys from huts. This caused a CTD on mod load with RoM281 and A new dawn installed however. Why is that? Replacing lines did not work either.

Second is the ctd in the save file. It does not happen ingame, but rather upon save load. I do not understand why, but I got a bad memory allocation during an ingame load. After that, no savegames from this game seem to load. From the one attached to any of the autosaves. Pliz help on this one. Could mail you the log if you really need it.

The clerk guild works fine for me.
You see the positive effects on the upper left side of the city screen.

I miss the buttons on the main screen to select a group of units , perhaps a bug thing ?
 
cha dawn you are right in the left side its added so only the Corp Display on the right and the Corporation Advisor dont show them

In the BUG panel, one of the ways you can organize units is the with "PLE Style". Turn that on, and those buttons should reappear.
 
I got a really weird bug. I'm using RoM 2.81, AND 1.64, and AAranda's custom religions mod. It all started when my save file was around 740 kb, and it made it so i couldnt load quick saves, i would just have a ctd. i was ok with that, so i just started regular loading from regular saves (i would still always do a quick save though, before a regular save because im scared of getting memory allocation errors).

before AND 1.60 came out i was loading games twice as high as 740 kb. and most recently ctds started happening from regular saves. my game size then was 888 kb. i think a memory allocation error couldve caused it because i was in the world builder doing some stuff and then i closed it and did a quick save, so if a memory allocation error happened, i could still load from a regular save, and sure enough i got a one. so i started civ again, and when i clicked on my regular save i had a ctd, i tried loading it again and i got another. but the weird thing is it worked yesterday when i tried to load it. once i was in the game, i went into the world builder again, and did less things than i did the previous time and when i saved there was no memory allocation error.

next i closed the game and restarted and yet again another ctd. ive tried many more times to load, but i still get ctds. auto save loads give me ctds too. also im sorry for typing so much. oh and if it matters im playing on a huge map with 39 civs. heres my uploaded save.

I was playing 2.81 with and 1.63.Then in the middle of my game, i updated it to 1.64.
In that game, (i always use barbarian general) i fought a barb warrior with my warrior. And yes i got a XP. But, when i attached GG to it(i tried other unit too) it no longer able to gained xp(from attacking barb, dunno if it'll work on attacking other country).And that unit has leadership and holy trinity promotion(125% more xp), so to not gain even a single xp in 3-4 times battle is quite unlogical.
I tried to make a full new game, but the problem persist.

Are the rest of units getting XP okay? It's just the GG? If it's just the GG, that narrows is quite a bit.

Hmm. Had the city ever been a capital city before? At any time in the game?
I can't be positive, but I suspect it's likely. I recall that when the Americans attacked the Chinese, they took Beijing first. I'm almost certain, but have no proof that Nanjing would have become the capital at that point.

Didn't work for me.

Me neither. Changed the .py file, but loading a game (at least a save) didn't seem to change anything.
 
Something else I just noticed. There is an issue with buildings like Plato's Academy in OOC. I can't build it, as it says I need School of Scribes, showing 0/1 built. I have built a School of Scribes. Also I have been able to get another city via culture flipping a capital(they willingly surrendered)
